great location with nice view on mountains. everything was fine, typical german-style hotel with restaurant.

booking.com described this property as being near meran. in fact it's almost an hour's drive away from meran.

Amazing, cozy and private hotel in the center of South Tyrol. The view from our room was just breathtaking. I absolutely loved morning breakfasts and super friendly stuff. The drive to the most scenic places is just 30-40 minutes from the hotel, which is so pretty, totally worth it. The remoteness of the hotel from big towns and artificial light helped us to have the best sleep of our lives there. The stuff also helped us to check-in at around midnight, really appreciated it! Recommend 100%?

Very nice place to stay. The view outside is very nice. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. They are very welcome and make us feel like at home. Comfortable bed & pillow. A bit small bathroom but it's ok. Hot water works well. Very delicious pizza !! (available from 6-9 pm daily). Breakfast (included) is also very good. Croissant is delicious with various kinds of jam. Variety of meat (cold cut) & cheese.

No elevator (it's an old house) and room size is not that big, so be careful if you have a big luggage (you need to carry by yourself to your room).

Very kind hosts, very supportive, nice restaurant and pizzeria with very good food. also a superb landscape.

Very tranquil gasthof up in the mountain. The staff was super helpful and we had dinner at the restaurant which was lovely, great pizza.

The rooms are a little dated and the gasthof is a little out of the way but it's very good value for money. We were very happy with our stay.

This stay was absolutely perfect for us as a family of 4. It was admittedly my first time in a 2 star hotel but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was great, the staff were friendly and kind. I hope we get the opportunity to stay here again

Furnishings were dated but no different from the photos so we knew what to expect and more imporrantly it was clean.

Must note info included...I had a great stay at Gasthof Mesnerwirt! The room was clean and comfortable, and the balcony had amazing views of the mountains. Important to know: The place is not easy to get to if you don’t have a car. It’s far from public transportation, and you have to drive on winding, narrow roads to reach it. A taxi can cost over €120, and even the driver didn’t want to go. I decided to rent a car, and I recommend renting one that’s good for icy and snowy roads in winter. The drive may be tricky, but it’s totally worth it if you want to experience life in the mountains and enjoy the beautiful views from high up. It’s an unforgettable stay!

The pillows need to be changed or redo. They are extremely worned out but clean.

there is nothing I didn't like

This space is an absolute gem & the staff is hospitable & kind. Bonus is that they spoke English - it made it easier for us to communicate.The breakfast was delicious!!

Good stop at this economically priced hotel. Friendly staff. Room was clean and functional. We had a good meal in the restaurant in the evenings, that was freshly prepared with local produce.Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. Parking for our motorcycle in the underground garage was welcome.

Everything was good, helpful staff, we ate there in the evening and food was great.

No fridge in the room.

Cool hotel, large room with balcony and mountain view. The room has everything you need. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff.

Staff are nice. Got a room facing the parking lot, not much to say about the view. If you are lucky to get a room facing the mountains, it should be nice. Room is clean, not much space for luggage, bathroom is tight, lighting is dim, beds are comfortable. Pizza is fine, breakfast has fair choices for the price, but too many flies in the restaurant.

At the evening, I did not see the choice of Italian cuisine as mentioned in the other review, only pizza was available. However, I appreciate the staff for taking our order, he said he had been working for long hours. Driving to the place is a lot of uphill narrow roads, a bit tricky for people who are used to drive in the city.

I liked the location and the price.

The shower cabin is small.

Having a cold beer on the balcony while the sun went down was amazing. The staff were really nice and friendly. Will definitely stay there again.
