Small pet friendly place. Booking with meals was a very good choice.

The vegetarian option on the dinner menu should be better.

Pretty steep narrow road to reach it - but that comes with it's location.

The staff were incredibly rude— so much so that I mentioned when checking out that over three days sitting outside, I’d not been offered service once (I sat outside to read and had a few drinks each afternoon). No amenities were offered. No opaque curtains in bathroom (which faced road) so I felt really uncomfortable. It was the worst part of my trip- I had come up to relax at a time when I was grieving and wanted quiet countryside. However, being openly ignored by an unkind staff for three days made me wish I’d never come and made me feel awful.

Dinner quality of the food inconsistent. One excellent, one fair, and one poor.

Beautiful location. Very remote and peaceful. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very clean and the food was superb local specialities. Vey rustic.

It was not easy to find.

We booked this place with the half-board option expecting the meals to be basic but adequate. In fact, the meals were really superb. Beautiful fresh ingredients and presentation. The staff were friendly and helpful. From the outside, the place is pretty understated. We wondered if we were at the right place. Once we went inside and saw the views from the terrace, which were absolutely stunning, we were pleasantly surprised. The area is fantastic. We had one rainy day, but we were able to take the train and cable car down to Bolzano for free using the pass provided by the Guest House. The Archeological Museum there is very popular, you need to book ahead.

Our room at the back of the guest house was not great. Very small and dark with no view. We would pay the extra for a front room next time. We were very hot at night as we had to leave the window closed because of mosquitos. I expect the rooms at the front have more of a breeze.

Everything was great & really peaceful. The room was clean and spacious. The dinner menu included in the half board offer is excellent. The staff paid attention to our food allergy which is really appreciated - thank you! :-)

Awesome motorbike ride to this wonderful Hotel with breathtaking views over the countryside and mountains . Thank you to the ever so welcoming Vera and her staff. Brilliant delicious food at the scenic restaurant . Comfortable big rooms and bathrooms.. Very clean. We would return just to experience the happy personality of Vera .

The location was spectacular, surrounded by alpine meadows and mountains and with long-reaching views over the Ritten Plateau to the Dolomeites. Sitting with a Prosecco watching the sunset was a memory that will stick with me for a long time. The hotel also gave us each a free RittenCard, which gave us access to the RittenBahn Railway and a 12 minute cable car down to the city of Bozen - much easier, faster and more exciting than driving down there in the car. Food was good (even for vegetarians) and breakfast was ample.

There was a bit of noise on the last night we stayed, coming from the bar area beneath us, which went on until well after midnight. The soundproofing isn't great, so it kept us both awake for a while. Not a huge issue, but compared to our first night was a bit noisy.

There was no water at all for the whole night.But they didn't charge our dinner to apologize because that never happened before. The place is gorgeous. Super clean (I have a cleaning business and I am super picky about cleaning). Staff was great. Very romantic and cozy place. Food was delicious.
