Garni Le Chalet

-The hostess was the best! So caring and accommodating any of our needs. So sweet! So homey! -The location was excellent and safe. Easy bus ride to Ortesei or Selva. However, located up a steep hill so not good if you have mobility issues. -Could easily walk to restaurants, grocery and bus stop within 10-15 minutes. Nice trail through town. -The breakfast!!!!!!!! Yum!

The bed was harder than I’m used to. The shower was tight -not sure how the others were.

What can you say about a room in a pension? It's a room with comfy beds and a small but functional bathroom. All rooms have a balcony except the ones on the ground floor.The breakfast is typical for the area and always enough.Extremely kind and helpful host.

Although it's not related to Garni Le Chalet, if you go during the off-season period almost none restaurants were open.

It was a fantastic stay. Chalet is very clean and cozy, the host is very friendly and approachable for any request that you might have. Outstanding location right next to Monte Pana ski lift (you just go down 150m from Chalet). Highly recommended! I hope I can come back again :)

Breakfast was simple but included everything we needed, and the quality of the available products was very good, so we were very happy with the breakfast options. The coffee was also very good. The room was cleaned every day. Additionally, the owner provided us with a free upgrade to a room with a nice view and balcony, as well as free ski-bus ticket registration. The hotel also has a dedicated ski storage room and a ski-boot drying rack, which were very useful. Free parking for a rented car was a nice bonus as well.

If you enter the hotel address into the navigator, you will end up in the wrong place. You need to enter the address of another nearby hotel, 'Carmen,' to get to the right location. It would be nice to have a small refrigerator in the room, but we managed to keep our products on the balcony, and it was fine.

Nice and clean rooms, not spacious but certainly sufficient. Excellent breakfast and should you order it, you will receive an excellent italian coffee. Decent access to skibus. Managed by a very friendly owner and her daughter.

A water cooker in the room would have been a nice touch.

Each time I stay here it feels like home. Adelinde and Franz are great hosts! The location is great. It is a short walk to the bus stop so you can easily go everywhere the buses go. It is also a short walk to the grocery store, post office, and all the restaurants and shops. The views are great. I enjoy the breakfasts in their beautiful breakfast room. The artwork and historical photos give it a unique feeling. If you want to stay with locals in a beautiful Dolomite Mountain village and be well taken care of, you will enjoy this place!

The bathrooms were pretty small and showers pretty cramped, but overall for the value it’s a great place to stay

The elderly lady that runs the hotel is so delightful which make this place so lovely. Breakfast beautiful. Location great to access Selva or Ortessi. Bathrooms a little small.but great basic accommodation.

The hostess, Linda, is a very welcoming and charming person. I liked the guesthouse and bedrooms are decorated with wood, making it so sweet and cozy. We had a room with a balcony with an amazing view of Sassolungo.

Our room was perfectly clean and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. The location in Santa Christina is perfect: a short walk to catch the bus to Ortisei, or to eat at any number of fine restaurants, or discuss your trip with the local tourist information office, all within a 5-10 minute walk.

Google maps does not provide accurate guidance to Garni Le Chalet. It's best to set your destination for Hotel Carmen which is right next door, and this will bring you there.

The location was excellent for the parts of the Dolomites we wanted to visit. This hotel was terrific. We could get to Alpi di Suisi, Sussolungo and Seceda by bus very easily. The view from our hotel was breathtaking!

Very kind hostess. Good location near busses to hiking trails. Breakfast was good.

Host Linda was the best: welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was more than enough. The location is 2 bus stops from Seceda and Seiser Alm. We would recommend this place with confidence and would love to come back again one day.
