Hotel Mirabeau

the personal are fantastic. the viel are amazing

you can not sleep there. there is a bar with the hotel and the super noise starts at 11 pm and ends at 0500am. the hotel is very nice, but not for sleeping.

You need to have a car to stay at this hotel. For us it was perfect as it had free parking above the mountain from Bellagio. The views from the hotel in the daytime and at night are spectacular. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean. It definitely is a good value for the cost.

Flora and Flavio are superb hosts! It's always a pleasure to visit Mirabeau. The view is stunning. The hotel is vintage. Yes, it's old, but that's the beauty of it. It holds history and memories of good people, good ocnversations and good vibes! Absolutely recommend!

BED BUGS - AVOID.

The room was absolutely INFESTED with bed bugs and the manager had no idea how to handle it. We were there for only a few hours but my wife and I watched tv in bed with the light on for no more than 1.5 hours and still managed to get bitten 15 times between us I can only imagine how awful it could have been if we had actually stayed a night there with the light off. They were crawling on the curtain and the wall so who knows where else they were. We told the manager and he just offered to take the curtain down and spray the room and expected us to still stay there! They couldn't offer us another room as they were full but the room must have had an infestation for weeks to get to that level. We had to leave at midnight and find somewhere to wrap our luggage in plastic as you can't stay in a room with bed bugs. We then had to pay 3 times the cost of the room for another hotel at such short notice and also clean and dry all of our clothes on a high heat the next day just to try and not bring them back home. I understand that these things can happen so asked the hotel to refund us for the hotel we had to use at short notice or at least to refund the room rate for this hotel but they refused to refund anything. Later when we complained to booking.com, they told us that the property had claimed these were not bed bugs but "black ladybugs". We have photos and video evidence that clearly shows otherwise. The bed bug infestation should have been picked up by any cleaner and it had clearly been going for many weeks given the level of infestation. The way this was handled by management including the lies and refusal to even refund us for the night was unacceptable and I would never recommend staying here.

Without car hire this is not good location. Buses are not reliable and charge from.hotel to centre of Bellagio is €70! No local information is provided in bedrooms. Rooms are very dated. Only one plug socket that took my adapter. Bed uncomfortable, no kettle, WiFi not great. Restaurant service is very slow and waiting time to be served drinks is very long, they do not permit you to go to bar yourself. Slow to respond to emails before arrival. Breakfast charge increased after booking too. Would not stay here again.

Pay more and go somewhere nice

Lack of cleanliness, need of paying tourist tax (£6 for 2 ppl) by cash only, everywhere else payable by card. Looks better on pictures than in reality, don't fall for swimming pool.

The room was clean, nice balcony with chairs and a view - no air conditioner (A/C), though.

While the restaurant offer in the evening was decent and pizza was great, the breakfast was an atrocious experience. It was so unbearable that we simply walked out 5 minutes later, without touching our food. The whole dining room was a mess (it was about 9:30AM). Two of us were barely able to find a table, or better - some seats around the bigger tables that were not crammed with leftover food apparently eaten partially by some previous guests. Upon ordering some scrambled eggs and some bread, a man who didn't even look much like a waiter or staff (but was apparently in some role there) brought us two plates with small chunks of cold scrambled eggs and dropped two kaiser rolls from some plastic bag he brought with him....that was the moment we simply decided that this breakfast 'experience' doesn't have to bother us any further. We drove to the center of Belaggio and had a proper breakfast, with proper service.

No air conditioning so we had to keep the windows open so there was almost constant road noise with some motorcycles being quite loud keeping us awake.

Noisy.There is no curtain in the room.The water in the shower did not go down the drain fast enough. Very expensive.

Spectacular view, great and attentive personal, tasty food, swimming pool. I had everything for pleasant relaxing time.

The staff were really lovely. Welcomed us even though we were early, let us sit all night over a couple of glasses of wine - couldn’t have been nicer. View from our room was out over the route of the Italy cycle race so could watch motorbikes and cycles passing all day - fab!!!

The hotel is a little run down although it is really clean it just needs a bit of a revamp.

We ate excellently pizza on the panoramic terrace overlooking the Lake. My daughters were able to have fun in the large equipped park made available to customers.There was a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by greenery. The breakfast was very abundant, rich in food and with no limits on consumption. We were given a beautiful room with a Lake view balcony next to my little daughters room.The welcome was very warm, friendly and impactful. We will definitely return to spend other days in this structure

The view of the lake from the hotel was really nice.

Unfortunately our room was right near the main road which was very noisy and difficult to sleep. It was very hot and there was no air conditioning hence the windows needed to be open allowing more noise in the room.The room and hotel is very dated.Overall for the price we paid I do not rate this hotel as value for money.

Amazing views, definitely worth climbing up. Clean and comfortable rooms. Delicious food in the restaurant. Pool and bar available (although we didn't have time to use).

Location might be a bit of an issue if you don't have a car.However popular stop for cyclists.
