Cityhotel Ahlen Garni

The hotel was clean and quiet. Free parking right in front of it.

The only thing I disliked was the pillows which were too soft for me.

Everything was clean, checking was easy and location perfect.

Friendly welcome. Clean and well decorated. Water available to guests.

Clean and very comfortable apartment for stay

Missed some soft drinks, Snack and water dispenser (refrigerator) for cost, something would be worth !!

It was a comfortable stay. The hotel personnel is very attentive and helpful. The hotel is close to the train station and the center of the town, which was very convenient for me. The breakfast was simple but good. I'd stay here again once back to Ahlen.

very friendly personnel and good service

The room was a bit smelly and cold when we've arrived. 1/4 towels was dirty

The hotel is located close to the train station and makes it suitable for a short stay. All guys from reception were helpful and friendly.

The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They really go the extra mile for the guests!

Since the standard rooms were already occupied, I was accommodated in a suite for the same price. Spacious suit, functionally equipped.Very pleasant service at the reception.

Unfortunately, the apartment is on the 3rd floor without an elevator and the stairs are quite steep. So if someone is older and less mobile, it's a challenge. I missed the minibar and also the possibility of dinner at the hotel. However, there are 3 interesting restaurants within a 10-minute walk.

Friendly helpful staff & clean.

The bed was not good. Mattress appeared to be foam/memory foam, very warm & moved on bed or off base - & I was only one in bed...!

-kind and friendly staff-very clean room-apartment room has enough kitchen items to cook simple dishes-close to the train station-close to the Ahlen city center

poor scenery due to the abandoned factory in front of the hotel

Nice and cozy Bed&Breakfast Hotel. Very nice and helpful staff. Early check-in without discussion. I'm looking forward to next time. Thank you!

Well located at walking distance from city center | free bottle water | friendly staff | free private hotel parking across the street

Rather basic city hotel | limited reception availability | rooms could be cleaner | not very cosy | terrible pillows

Large and clean room. Free parking. Location close to the city center. The owner made an additional good impression. I forgot some of my belongings in my room and the owner sent them back to my home.

Very good breakfast, Free parking. Air condition.

Ok location. Nearby private parking lot. Ok breakfast selection.

Noisy guests. Not enough food for all guests during breakfast.

Very simple hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful, location ok… near railway tracks

thin walls/doors… very loud

I liked the friendliness of the staff, the excellent breakfast and a bottle of water for free.

There was a slightly oily smell at the beginning. I thought it could be from the Dachs system for heating? After fresh air from outside by opening the window it was okay.

The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. It got a bit chilly towards the evening and we didn't know how to turn on the heating so one of them came to the hotel just to help us out which we really appreciated. Very clean and centrally located, I would stay there again next time I visit Ahlen.

Nothing to say really - as I mentioned above the room did feel a bit chilly towards the evening but the staff made sure to help us out.

Too small room and it’s aged hotel Poor breakfast
