- We had a lovely stay here—everything was comfortable and convenient. The location is ideal, and the atmosphere is genuinely pleasant. This is a third visit and we will be visiting again soon. Do treat yourself to a cup of coffee, even if you don’t stay here—it’s worth it! ☕️
- This is our second time staying at Long John’s Pub & Hotel. We absolutely love staying here. The location is perfect. The staff very helpful and friendly. We look forward to many more visits.

Cons -
- No bathroom Drunk people were so loud in the room next to me at 2 amThey even was going to enter my room by mistake
- The AC was broken, so we had to open the window and it was a bit noisy at night. Maybe supply a fan, otherwise it was great!

Nice hotel with great pub attached. Very nice staff, the room was nice and comfortable. Great location in town. The room had a shared toilet, but I knew this going in and it wasn't a problem at all. Would stay there again.
The location of the place is top-notch! It sits in a cozy square with plenty of restaurants and it’s the perfect location to explore Amersfoort.

Staff and location were tops. We enjoyed the large suite and it will be perfect in a couple weeks. It's a beautiful location and setting

The room was just what we booked and what we expected. A little better even!Service was exceptional. The hotel was clean and the bathroom in the hallway was also kept clean. The bed and room were comfortable and we slept well.
It was very clean and great location
Waaaaay to small-bed was small and the room was smaller
Perfect location (although a tiny bit of street noise late Saturday evening, but it is located in the center of town). Extremely comfortable and spacious apartment. Staff was very warm and welcoming.
Nice place for short stay. What I like most is the staff , they always greet you with a smile and welcoming.
Breakfast is not as expected. They can do much better for the price. Also AC /heat was not working in the sitting room.
Really enjoyed the view, and the ability to open my window! So much better, getting a room with my own shower and commode, was able to rest comfortably. Can I also say their pillows are the best locally? You get an ample supply of lovely fluffy pillows to snuggle down into. Definitely worth the extra.
I guess I wish the kitchen was open longer, by the time I was ready to eat, they were on the point of closing, so I went out to find something else.
Breakfast. Beds. Location.
The smell of the pub in the main hallway.
We had 4 people, so we rented 2 rooms. One on the lowest floor which was room was spacious, quiet, and private. It was clean, light and bright with large windows and a private patio. The upstairs room (with private bath) was less spacious, but had a nice view of a beautiful building and a peek into the central square. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Short walk to central station. Amersfort is a lovely town. We recommend going to the pub in the evening and sitting in the room with the glass ceiling. Gorgeous surprise view.
Central location, with terrace on the canal, good food, friendly staff. Room simple and stylish, warm, with useful leaflets about the city and earplugs....thoughtful ?
An alarm went off at 3.45 am when I opened my room door to visit the WC ...
All of the stay. Fantastic staff. New guy is awsome
Perhaps check age of guests and don't let the over 70's go up to the top.put them on first floor
Amazing location and friendly staff. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the quirks of the building.
Could have been a tiny bit cleaner but nothing major.
It is a simple but pleasent place to stay. The rooms are small and up the stairs. Don't expect any kind of business-like hotel, but enjoy the cosyness, the friendly staff and the good food and beers in the bar, not to mention the central location. For the price, it is excellent value for the money, and by train you can reach Amsterdam City in less than an hour.
The matresses were a bit to soft to my opinion, but that is really not a problem.
The hotel is centrally located within the old town, within mins to shopping and food. Staff are extremely helpful and approachable, Room is very clean and sufficiently spacious! Have a meal at Hete Kolen, amazing food
Unfortunately we did not get the room with a toilet but hey, the toilet is right outside and not that inconvenient!Stairs only here, narrow steep stairs.
Pros: the staff were excellent and kind. Location.Cons: thin thin thin walls. I thought I was getting text messages all night because I could hear vibrating - turns out it was my neighbors phone!! Also, I could hear their snoring and the music from the bar. They do provide ear plugs for this very reason though. I was so tired after a long flight that it didn’t ruin my sleep but otherwise, it would have been difficult. The bathroom shower wasn’t the cleanest I’ve used but also not the worst. The room was also tiny tiny, not enough room to walk between the wall and the bed. Overall, fine for a night after a long flight. Cleanish, affordable and snack in the center of the charming town. Just have realistic expectations and you’ll be satisfied.
The rooms were super clean. Even common toilet! The breakfast was enough. The employees were very helpful and friendly. Just because of the city centre there might be noise in the middle of the night. But for me, this was no problem. Thanks for everything!
