The decor was very modern and our room even if on the smaller side was extremely well designed and had all what we needed.Excellent breakfast and attentive staff

Room size - but we might have chosen a small size room - so if one is going for the queen room - be aware it is really small.

This hotel is located in the city center of Lübeck. You can reach there in a few minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop and the historical places or the shopping street are nearby. It was quiet in the night

It was not the issue for us. But keep in mind that this hotel does not have a parking place.

Fantastic location for seeing the old city and Christmas markets. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom

Small room with no desk and little space for luggage

Centre of the city. Excellent breakfast.

Our room faced onto residential accommodation 3 metres away, so people were looking directly into our room. We had to keep the heavy curtails shut making the room dark. Net curtains would help!

Location, lounge and check in area

Comfortable hotel with friendly staff in the heart of the old city of Lübeck. Breakfast choice was limited with no cooked items except boiled eggs. If you need a taxi to the railway station, order well in advance as they are difficult to get.

I know Motel One chain for years and love it, so this particular hotel is slightly lower than what you can expect with their standardsno minibar for cooling drinksno drinking water in the roompoor breakfastno free coffee and tea in the roometc etc (minor but still sad things)

Good location!

15 min wait to check-in, no apology or acknowledgment for it, under-staffed, nobidy at reception for check-out, coffee machine not working, bar staff not able to clean dirty tables, tiny rooms, soap dispenser not working, no paper in public toilet. Motel One was a good option in the past, not anymore. Overprized and out-dated!

The location is superb for visiting the Christmas markets; 10/10.The staff is friendly and professional. We asked for a second baby cot and it was no problem whatsoever; 10/10.

Everything was great, but to name an improvement, a rain shower would have been nice.

Parking was perhaps a problem for those with cars. the hotel was full which meant queing to check in, perhaps more staff?The lobby is the breakfast room and althought the idea seemed interresting there was a problem for seating due to the number of guests, and low armchairs and small tables were not practical to eat from.

The hotel was located in the heart of the old city right next to the historic city hall and next to bus lines that connect to the main train station. Staff were welcoming, and the rooms were quiet and very clean.

The one lamentable issue was that our room was very small with little space for luggage. We also noticed that the room lacked daytime curtains, thus allowing residents from the building opposite to look in. However, this was not a huge deal for us since we did not spend much time in the room during daytime hours.

Very fancy place for the price! Stepping outside the building is directly in a beautiful square with several cafes and shopping.

At other Motel Ones we've stayed at, they all had a little coffee machine in the room, but this place did not.
