Breakfadt, pet friendly, great view

I asked for twin bed as we were travelling with kid, got just one double size.

breakfast is great; room comfortable, with great mattresses and pillows, we asked a second pillow each and got them, great view on Baltic ; very good location - meters from restaurants and boardwalk

The fee for a dog (25 e/night) is too much.

Our room was comfortable and spacious. The sitting area was very pleasant. The view of the coastline was splendid and if the weather had been fine the balcony would have been an excellent addition. The standard lamp in the sitting area was not functioning but this was no big deal. It would have been helpful to have clearer instructions for using the coffee machine. The diagrams and text were too small to read.The buffet dinner and the breakfast were first class. Beautiful served with truly professional waiting and catering staff. A pleasure to be in the dining room.

We never got to the swimming pool. We had no encouragement from the reception about whether it was in use, etc.We used the parking facilities in the hotel which were abominable. There was great confusion about which parts of the underground parking were available for hotel guests and we ended up in the wrong lift and were unable to get out because we didn't have the right keycard. This is badly organised and no instructions on how to find the right lift and retrieve one's motor car were given by the hotel.We had endless emails from booking.com and the hotel about the bank card we normally use. This was working perfectly as it has done for the last 62 years. However, we had emails saying it was invalid. (It wasn't). Emails saying that any emails from booking.com saying it was invalid were fraudulent and should be ignored. (no idea if this was true or untrue). Thie stress of not knowing whether our booking was valid or not was quite horrendous.

Extremely well maintained retro hotel. Every inch of this hotel is spotless. We stayed in a family suite, which was brilliant. Amazing view of both Travemünde and the Beach.Location is perfect.

Room was cold.Lights do not work.In the first time I do not pay the park. In the second, I must to pay. Do not have a standard.

I have lived in many, many hotels during my career, but this one kind of beats them all. Being a lifelong sailor I just love to wake up with a free horizon and the sun in my face. My God I did here. Panorama view of Travemünde harbor with one ferry after another padding the window. Clear sunshine after an amazing sunrise!. The room, was just perfect - kind of stylish 1960s feel but perfect quality almost everywhere (Yes, this is an older hotel, but the magic factor removes the little imperfections in an instant!), large balcony and a bed that had a very good matrass. Its actually a little hard to find words to describe this perfect arctitecture in the perfect spot for this non-perfect person for a perfect moment one sunny morning. I loved this place and the room. And to add to that, the receptionist when I checked out was incredibly kind and nice.

The bar closed very early and the clientele was of the somewhat older type. And no, I did not drink that much, just in case you think so from the review :)

Very good place for having a vacation . The breakfast and the dinner were delicious - a very big choice of the dishes and fantastic desserts.We had a welcome bottle of water and fresh fruits on arrival and also got fruits and water as a good-bye gift.The view from the room was amazing. Very professional and polite personnel. We will definitely come back!

Motorist-friendly, safe, very clean and well-equipped place. Great breakfast! Flexible check-in and check-out. All in all an excellent experience. I recommend.

The lobby and room were uplifting and elegant, we especially loved the balcony in our room. The breakfast was plentiful. Unfortunately we did not have time to check the spa.

I would have liked to have cream with my coffee at breakfast.

Absolutely amazing little details for travel with pets (treats, bowls, blanket, even poop bags), there is the slogan 'pets welcome' truly lived and not only words. Thank you! Plus very nice and comfy rooms for the humans :-)

We have enjoyed our stay very much , great views, nice staff and really good breakfast.

The view from the breakfast restaurant is fantastic. Despite of the fact that if was quite crowed if was calm, clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. Good choice of food and beverages. I liked the be bed cover (style and smell) and the fact, that there were two pillows of different sizes on every bed.

Veggies as part of the breakfast choice would have been nice.

The location and the fact that it held so many memories from my childhood. What others might not appreciated, the “vintage” bathroom, I loved because it looked exactly the same as when I was there as a child some 40 years ago. It was clean and still intact, so no issue there

The location is perfect. The room is really nice with a beautiful view.

Wish there are more Vegan options for breakfast. The hotel menu has one vegan option for dinner. It's really appreciable but it was not delicious. I think they can do much better.

The facilities, food and attention

I had to work online, they told me the wifi was strong enough but the truth is that I couldn't work because the wifi is almost never working. I had lost two days of my work. Also the swimming pool is very very cold, almost no one used it, and the lift to the gym was broken so you did have to walk a lot to find it
