- Excellent location on the river across the bridge from the Holsteintor. The riverside restaurants and cafes are just outside the door. The breakfast buffet had many options including make your own waffles, smoked salmon, and pickled herring. The staff is very nice. I recommend this place and would stay again.

- The vegetables and fruit at the breakfast buffet were sparse and looked wilted.

Beautiful hotel on a Canal in Lubeck. Staff extremely helpful, especially the front desk. Breakfast quite good. Overall a great place to stay in beautiful Lubeck
Not a thing!
Ubicación. Location
Daily cleaning service not that good. Too much noise at night. Not comfortable. It feels as a hostel rather than a hotel, with the price of a hotel.
Location was excellent with a beautiful view. Bed was comfy.
Comfortable, beautiful and amazing views! All cleaned and excellent food
All amazing
Shams, the receptionist, made my stay delightful with genuine kindness and a warm welcome! Plus the nice view from my window!
My single room at the hotel was perfect for my one-night stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed. I drove there, and luckily, there was parking available on the same street, which made things really convenient. The location was great - everything I wanted to explore in the city was within walking distance.I had breakfast at the hotel and was really happy with the selection. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even helping me out with hot water for my thermos. Overall, a great stay!
Room is cozy, location in the center, near shopping area.
The hotel had an incredible location for the old town and Christmas market in Lübeck. The room was very comfortable for 2 adults and a baby.
The only complaint was that the walls seemed to be a bit thin between rooms, but maybe we just had loud neighbors.
I have been here many times, the hotelstandard is as it always was, but buy the breakfast another place, been there about 9 am and I found 2 slices of ham , 1 slice of chese, no orangejuice, the coffee was cold, the staff ( 1 person) was not welkomming at alI, I cancelled the breakfast next morning.
The staff wath rather nice, and it is a really short wall to the city. It is an old historic Hotel.
Hotel Jensen Just got new owners. The rooms where Not clean, and we're Not cleaned in between. Half of the rooms are renovated, the other half not. There for example the toilet flush did Not Work, Nether did the running water. We asked for a new rooms, which WE got. They are severly lacking staff. Breakfast is rather cheap but really Not good. With old buns, old egg but rather big Sortiment. The Problem ist, they changed owners and the staff told us, a lot of staff was fired, so now they cannot hold the Standart. The price is to high for this kind of Hotel.
Location. Breakfast and the quaint building
This is a very old hotel and not exceedingly comfortable. the bed were not comfortable
It's in a fantastic location - short walk from station and from everywhere in the Altstadt - and our dreadful room was well sound-proofed from the street sounds and had a wonderful view of the river, Holstentor and Hanseatic buildings on the opposite bank. The receptionist was very nice, and apologetic, and was happy to store our luggage before and after our stay, to fit in with our train times. Although he did nothing to improve the situation, he did explain they're doing the place up and asked for notes on what could be done better.
We booked a double room in August. When we arrived (16 Dec), we were given a really depressing, tiny twin-bed room and were told the hotel was overbooked and they couldn't move us, on either the first or the second night of the stay. We surely weren't the last people to book, yet we were treated as a last-minute afterthought. No compensation was offered, not even a complimentary breakfast (we were glad in the end of that, as found an excellent café in the town which did amazing breakfasts for less). The beds were OK, as was the shower, but the carpet was awful (a squashed, toxic-looking, once-shaggy brown). A kettle in the room might have cheered things up if there had been one (we were told on checkout we could have asked for one, but TBH I really didn't want to have to talk to anyone by that point). The good thing about it was that since the room was so horrible, we spent as much time as possible outside exploring the town, which was well worth it.
Great location and great value. Good breakfast.
The location was superb and parking was easy to find.
The hotell did not live up to the pictures. Flaking wallpaper and a disgusting bathroom was not nice. We were placed on the fifth floor, the elevator did not go all the way up, we had to walk the last flight of stairs. Some of the rooms were closed of, they said because they didn't have a fire exit, but the room was next to ours... suspecting the might have been closed of due to something else... (like bedbugs). I would have paid an extra 100€ to stay at a nicer hotell. This is not the 3 star hotell standard. Cleaning was not up to standard, found dirt and hairs everywhere...
Over booked
Arrived to be told that they were over booked and even though I had booked months in advance they could not accommodate us.
The hotel is very conveniently located. Our room was very warm and has a fantastic view. The internet connection was good.
The bathroom was not clean to a good standard. There were stains on the sink and toilet, and some hairs in the shower. The shelves below the mirror and above the toilet were dusty. The room and bathroom were very small and had an awkward layout, though it was alright for a short stay.
Location
The room in the 5th floor was very small and no elevator
