location is great, near the train station. Staff responsive, allowed me late check-in. Very clean and very quiet.

staff is not available 24/7. there is no coffee machine in the room, or in the hotel

I liked the location of the hotel, close to services and the city center.

I would have liked more concierge service. But otherwise I really enjoyed the hotel

There was hardly any staff, but then again I didn’t need anything from them so it was ok.

The location.

We called the hotel before traveling and informed them that we would arrive late. The hotel sent us the code for the main door and said, "You can check in, and we will place the keycard under the lantern on the right."When we arrived, there was no keycard under the lantern. We tried calling the hotel, but no one answered. One of the residents eventually contacted the hotel owner for us.When the owner arrived, he yelled at us and said, "It's not my problem that the previous employee allowed you to check in late."He shouted at us four times, his voice was extremely loud, and he was banging on the desk aggressively, frightening us. He was slamming the desk so hard that I felt like he was about to hit us.He continued shouting at us for 15 minutes before saying, "You cannot book my hotel just because it's the cheapest and then arrive late. Even if someone told you that you could, I am the owner, and I did not agree. I have a family, and bla bla."We felt terrified and unsafe, as it seemed like he might get physical and hit us. He kept pounding on the wooden desk and yelling at us.

Location is the main thing, very close to the Hbf with shops on you doorstep. I arrived late, but after a helpful phoncall I was checked in… the room was big, if a little dated but a very comfy bed! The shower had good water pressure and was clean. Averall a good please to spend a night, if like me your tracking all day and need somewhere to rest your head for an evening.

I was little disappointed the breakfast was not included, I did not see anything to suggest it was extra, if I had known, I would have left a bit earlier and grabbed a but to eat in the city centre.

Nothing special

It was very smelly, especially the toilet and I couldn’t get rid of that smell. Also bed sheets were not clean. Elevator doesn’t work from 22-14 hrs.It was really not pleasant to stay there

Great location. Next to the bus and train stations and a short walk into Lübeck itself. A very comfortable hotel. My room was excellent, with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Highly recommended.

Nothing to dislike. Breakfast not being served, as it's off-season, but no problem as there are lots of cafes around

Very well-located, nearby the train station and a 10- to 15-minute walk to the Altstadt.

Bathroom was a bit too small and no ventilation in it.

Nice little family driven hotel. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff without being too much or too chatty. Smile in their eyes. Perfect single person rooms for a short stay. Not fancy, but very clean and functional. Would stay there again!

the coffee at breakfast could be better!

The room was spacious and the bathroom was very clean, with all needed supplies. The location is very good, right next to the central station (but safe) and in a short walking distance from the old town. The staff is very helpful and ready to give advice about the town.

Everything was fine.

It was cosy room, quite big. All was clean. Communication with reception was goos as well. Possible to get breakfasts in the morning- not super big choice, but several good options (like buffet) and waited for us after breakfast time was over. Close to center.

Just a few parking places. Not very good sound isolation, could hear all the noises in corridor.

Well I liked that the welcoming was quick and efficient

The bathroom and the toilets shared outside in the corridor, the stains on the bed sheets, the absence of curtains on the windows

The heating was good. The room warmed up quickly. Super location for the ZOB and Bahnhof. Good TV. Hairdrier in room and complimentary toiletries.

Old carpets and curtains, marks and scratches on the walls, small shower with no window, lots of stains on the carpets especially in the bedroom by the bed, no lift. No kettle, tea/ coffee.

Proximity to the train station.

It felt cramped. It was clean enough but it could do with some renovations.

Lovely welcome (bonus points for speaking English for me!) and clear instructions about after hours entry.Convenient location across the road from the bus station and about 2 minutes from the train station. I had a single room and, yes, it was small but it was clean and had everything you need - bed, ensuite, desk, tv, wardrobe. I particularly liked that you could open the window. Practical, functional and good value for money

Cosy, old style, hotel. Felt very back to the day. Very close to train station and busterminal. A five minute walk from Holsten Tor and the Old Town.

Very thin walls. The neighbours were obviously as aware of the fact as us, and were very considerate. But even the closing of doors and patrons using the bathroom in the hall seemed loud.
