Hotel Mercator Itzehoe-Klosterforst

The room was quite spacious and very clean. The staff at the reception was very kind and approachable. Even though I just booked everything went smooth with no hiccups. All together a nice and easy experience.

The room warmed up quite rapidly and while the windows could be opened we immediately had some insects inside. Nothing the hotel could prevent but it was a little difficult to cool the room down.

Friendly polite staff clean throughout and exceptional food

It was a bit hot

Convenient location, I didn’t have a breakfast

The staff where very helpful and friendly

Good Facility, clean, straight forward, friendly

Not worth the penny.

Waiting 2 hours for a simple 1 course meal is bad, when it then arrives and is totally burned it’s absurd. Restaurant was only 1/4 filled.

Having travelled to several hotel in Europe, I was surprised when they charge 2.5 euro for a bottle water that was in the room, where as in all the other hotels , this was for free

Free bottle of water in the room , like other hotels do.

Staff were excellent and friendly. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

We would have liked a kettle and fridge in our room

Highest spec room - big, well furnished with a socket everywhere you wanted one.

Clean and comfortable

No aircon is bad when its hot

Reception was working even after midnight which was nice. Easy to find.

Fair hotel. Already outdated and needs renovation.

Very Big hotel room with huge bathroom

The receptionist at check in was so Nice. But the Girl at the check out kept insisting we had not payed, until 10min after when we realized we had. She blamed the system, but she was so rude instead of being understanding and just look proberbly.

Lovely modern hotel with a nice bar and secure parking

All good

A very good location for a stopover, friendly, clean and functional! Very good breakfast buffet, high standard!

Clean, tidy room.Staff were friendly, polite and nice.

Bed was a little too hard for my usual sleep.Pillow was very soft.

During our business stay, we appreciated the helpfulness and efficiency of the staff, the ease of parking and the cleanliness of the hotel. It is the best place to stay in Itzehoe. Very good value for money.

The hotel is a little old-fashioned and the mattresses are hard.

very comfortable stopover with dog.

Great green areas and parks

Good food excellent staff comfortable room

breakfast was good location spot on for our needs

low sloping eaves in the room so easy to bang your head which I did

Breakfast and bar area was great, parking under the hotel was a bonus

I was on the top floor and the rooms could really do with A/C as they are so hot even though it was only roughly 15deg outside

We had an unexpectedly lovely meal for dinner. no booking either. very good portions and quality. also a good selection of drinks too. The staff were very welcoming.
