- Great staff, very easy check in and ability to reserve a parking slot. Fantastic traditional German menu and beers. Room was clean, comfortable and a nice temperature.
- We stayed in the Black Bear apartment. It is very, very spacious with a sizable balcony. The apartment also has a washing machine. The restaurant downstairs is very good. The hotel and restaurant staff are very, very helpful. There is on-site parking as well.
- The worst experience in all my time traveling.I requested a late check-in from 11 to 12. They wrote to me from the reception desk that there was no problem. I arrived at 11.15 and all the doors are closed. It's night, a strange city, and attempts to reach you are unsuccessful. The worst travel experience in almost 20 years.
Cons -
- Nothing!
- Our GPS stopped us at the wrong place on the actual street; -- but that isn't the hotel's fault.
- The balcony was a little dirty but we hadn’t expected a balcony so it was still a bonus

We stayed in the Black Bear apartment. It is very, very spacious with a sizable balcony. The apartment also has a washing machine. The restaurant downstairs is very good. The hotel and restaurant staff are very, very helpful. There is on-site parking as well.

We were given an apartment instead of a double room which gave us lots of space.
The balcony was a little dirty but we hadn’t expected a balcony so it was still a bonus
Good location, easy parking, pet friendly, excellent breakfast
It was a little expensive for the standard of the room.
Breakfast and cleanliness outstanding. The staff are friendly, professional and exceptionally helpful. Katrin on reception bent over backwards to help me with a problem with our dog and also helped me as I left my mobile phone in the room after my departure, what a gem she is.
If I was being really picky I would have liked a small fridge in the room and a kettle would have been nice.
Great location, nice spacious room, clean throughout
Horrible shower with water temperature jumping from ice cold to boiling and back in seconds. Very unfriendly front office staff, really surprised they are allowed to work with people at all, let alone in the hospitality business
Fantastic breakfast. Comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking available
Difficult to find using the postcode.
It was really nice, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, they have a restaurant with really good food and the breakfast was delicious
The pillow were too soft and there was just one per person
Very clean, modest room and extremely friendly staff. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty to select from. Cute building and interior in the restaurant.
Parking! Was forced to park in the street which is very narrow, yet a 2-way street with busses running in both directions.
Bedroom close to the enclosed garden made it easy to take the dogs out. Everyone friendly and helpful. Their own beer was really good, as was breakfast. Probably our new place to break the journey we make every year.
Clean and affordable. Convenient to have a restaurant downstairs and the staff were friendly.
It's very much a budget option. 3km to attractions, no kettle in the room, no lift so you have to carry your suitcase upstairs. For a weinhaus, I was also expecting a better wine list!
Breakfast was nice.
The cost of the room and all the add-ons, e.g. to reserve parking and for our pet
Location is good for bicycle riders on Mosel route.
Generally low quality with respect to the cost. The food at the restaurant was not good.
Quiet location away from the center of town. Bus a few steps from the hotel takes you directly to town center, where there is two indoor malls. Great for cyclist with secure garage and all you need to do maintenance on a bicycle. Good food at their restaurant with good ambiance. Family run hotel and every effort is made to please the guests.
Clean rooms, friendly staff and an absolutely wonderful breakfast
Nothing!
Location, very quiet neighbourhood.Extremely friendly staff, very easy to be at ease.
No cooling, except for a toy sized fan.Germany is getting quite hot during summer…
Nice tiled bathroom, great mattresses, great windows, some views, great breakfasts.
Patio seating at dinner scarce.
Very helpful and friendly staff. We had the best evening meal of our whole trip, served in the lovely garden. All the tables were taken, so book in advance.
There was nothing we didn't like.
This is a family-run hotel that cares about its guests. The hotel is well-situated for visits to Koblenz and the Moselle Valley. Breakfasts were very good and we looked forward to them. The back of the hotel opens onto a garden patio and we ate dinner out there one night. Excellent food and a very nice atmosphere. There is reliable and very reasonably-priced bus service into the center of Koblenz (about 10 minutes from the hotel), so we didn't need to drive into Koblenz ourselves. Thanks to Sabina for that information! We did drive to Winningen, a town in the Moselle valley that was a short drive from the hotel (about 10 km). The valley is absolutely beautiful and a trip to Winningen is recommended as a short day trip.
Parking on the premises is limited. It's not possible to reserve a parking space before arrival. The hotel staff told us that we could park on Koblenzerstrasse street for free, but this turned out not to be the case. We got a ticket for parking on the street, but the staff told us not to worry about it. They did find us a parking space that we used for two nights, which was very good of them, so it all worked out. The information about parking needs to be clearer.
