Hotel Sessellift

Close to the fortress. Room was clean and quiet. Very good for an overnight stay.

The rooms on the pictures look a little nicer than the rooms on the second floor where we stayed.

Very quiet room, nice and spacious. Had a great view of the fortress and down a quaint road.Free parking.

Found dust and rubbish on the floor inside the room, and people smoked inside of their rooms, filling the hallway with smoke.

Hotel sessellift sadly didn't include breakfast since there was a lack of personnel, which is understandable. There are however many facilities nearby to get some breakfast. The room was good, close to the Koblenz cable car, in fact we were looking at the fort from our room which was pretty interesting.

Bit awkward design: two houses coupled together with an Indian restaurant in the basement

The Indian below is amazing. It is in a good location for viewing the fortress. We had a refurbished room which was good.

Some parts are still being refurbished.

Parking for guests, can walk to the lift, comfortable bed, nice view

Hall smelled like cigarette smoke, a little noisy with street traffic, and be prepared to climb steps

The location was great, the room very comfortable and clean. Right by the chairlift for the fort and bus stop to town. Buy a ten euro bus ticket for two on the bus and you both get bus rides plus a ride up to the fort and a ride down in the chairlift, as well as a little ferry ride!Both Italian and Indian restaurants are on site, although we didn't try them as we ate in town .Very helpful, obliging and knowledgeable staff.

The very nice new shower room had a mouldy shower curtain.Could smell cigarette smoke during the night.Bedside lights would be nice.Note that any thing we were critical of is easily resolved - they are things that a word with the manager would suffice.

Great view, great value, great restaurant!

Shower drain had a tad difficulty keeping up with shower so I worried about flooding the place but ultimately not a problem.

We don't get the relatively low ratings for this hotel. The room wasn't luxury by any stretch, but the price/quality balance is downright amazing.

Could do with more thorough cleaning.

Location was good, bus stop just outside. View from our room was really nice. Great shower and comfortable beds. Owners were very nice and helpful. The Indian restaurant downstairs serves excellent food.We would stay there again

Avoid!

The hotel is a death trap. The fire alarm system was not installed and the fire exit led to a closed room. The room had been used by a smoker and the shower tracks were filthy.AwfulFor an extra 50 Euros we stayed at the Mercure.

The building is located in a quiet area. Bus stop just next to the building. It's also possible to cross the river to the city center by ferry. The owners were very kind and lent us a ventilator as it was a very hot day. The room was a good size. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Basic toiletries were provided.

A bit hard to arrive to the hotel very early in the morning or later at night (last bus stops around 9:00- 9:30 pm). Ferry stops running even earlier at 7:00 pm. It was not a problem for us, but something to be aware of if you are arriving early/late in the day.

Indian food was amazing and staff super friendly!

we didn’t mind checking in through a restaurant. the hallways are a bit dated but the rooms were clean and comfortable for a 1 night stay.

After a warm welcome we were shown to our room. It was lovely and had a stunning view. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing! The aromas from the kitchen guaranteed that we booked a table for dinner and again, we weren't disappointed!

We were unable to connect to the WiFi as was the TV but that wasn't really an issue. Tea/coffee in the room would be lovely but again, not that big an issue.

The host was very kind and walked us through checkin in the attached restaurant. The layout of the ground floor and stairway to the rooms is a little strange, but the room itself was very comfortable. The Indian restaurant they run on the ground floor was DELICIOUS!

The location of the property is a bit out of the way (I'd recommend taking a bus from the main train station, and not walking, which was a bit exhausting).

The room is updated and comfortable.

1. Many spiders in the room2. No bar soap, only one small bottle of shampoo3. No glass or cup in room4. Route to room is through restaurant and cluttered and messy adjacent room.

The room is newly renovate but not completely furnish. No hangging rode for wet towels. And no chair to rest after a long walk.

Check-in at 15 o'clock. Room service and sanitation is not yet done. Have seen hairs on bed. It is strictly notified "NO SMOKING" but walking along the hall. It is so obvious smells zigarett smoke. But no personnel to talk to for the matter.There are some rooms still on renovation in action but the staircase is not cleaned-up for the end of the day.In fairness the bus station is just infront of the hotel.
