Pros +
- The location is excellent. It is situated on the Rhine riverfront. It is about an easy 10 minute walk from the dock where the KD ship docks in Koblenz. Very convenient if you took the KD ship from Rudesheim to Koblenz. Rooms are compact and clean.
- Loved the breakfast. Loved the location. We walked from train station and to our river cruise location. Very lovely room with view
- Location is wonderful - quiet, but very close to the train station and an easy walk to downtown shopping and dining. Our room was very spacious, and clean but did not face the river. Wonderful breakfast buffet while looking over the river in the breakfast room. Being so close to the river was very convenient for a great run/walk.
Cons -
- The WLAN was extremely slow and it was very difficult to get work done while connected to the hotel's WLAN.
- A little far from town

Beautiful room with a gorgeous view of the Rhine. Excellent breaks.
A little far from town
Parking, location, large room, large bathroom, river view, nice breakfast
The hotel served our needs
Beeing that I don't mind a ten minute walk with luggage, the hotel being next to the Rhine was a plus. The room was comfortable and house cleaning timely and efficient. Breakfast offering is fine (coffee excellent) and it's a pleasure to look out in the river while dining.
The only negative is the loud sound if heavy drops falling on the empty Rolladen housings. It never rained hard, but somehow that light rainfall gathers into a larger drop of water that bangs in the housing. Sounds like random bongo taps. Light sleepers (not me) will have difficulty.
The bed was so comfortable! It was quiet, clean and convenient distance from the train station.
Nothing. It was just fine :)
Beautiful hotel right by the Rhine in a quiet residential area of Koblenz. We enjoyed walking next to the river and there was plenty of parking, though you do need to reserve it in advance and there is a fee. Breakfast was excellent, amazing croissants and finally some hot water (Germans seem more keen on coffee than tea). Our room was large and lovely, it was very quiet at night. If you want something closer to downtown, be aware that it took us about 25-30 minutes to walk to the Deutsches-Eck. However, those looking for a relaxed stay that is easy to get to with a car will enjoy!
The hotel is lovely, room nice and comfortable bed. There was a tree in-front of our window so river view was between the leaves, winter time would be fine when leaves have dropped. We arrived in the morning from Australia and could leave our bags. Breakfast was excellent, a good variety and value for money. We didn't want to venture out for dinner so had planned to eat in but sat at a table for 15 minutes, then given a menu then never returned to take orders. There were 2 other tables who got up and left so we did too. The only restaurants are near the train station so had to walk a few blocks. The second night we got some cold meat and salads from Audi to eat in the room.
The service in the restaurant didn't exist and they were busy with customers waiting.
It was a good breakfast, lots of choices..Not too far from downtown, all in walking distance Friendly hosts ..
I have nothing to complain about, except no dinner served .. lack of a cook
Location
They closed the gate and we coudlnt figure put early morning how to get out of building for our train
all perfect, wonderful location and view, comfortable room/bed, good breakfast - high value für money!
nothing to complain about
The location was excellent. Manageable walk from the train station. Steps to the promenade. We had a large balcony that we used every morning and evening. For hours, we just talked and enjoyed the Rhine flowing past us. In our 5 months of touring Europe, this was the best balcony by far. The room was spacious, clean and quiet The breakfast buffet was hearty.
The bathroom was large. But the toilet area. The actual bowl was not spacious. It was tight. I am large. It was difficult to complete my business. However, I would go back. And ask for the same room
The hotel was in a lovely setting, looking over the river and we enjoyed sitting there to eat our breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was of a good standard with lots of choice, good quality and nicely presented. It was also good that the hotel offered parking alongside the hotel. The room was clean and comfy throughout.
The fridge and kettle in our room didn't work and that the plug in the sink was missing. We were disappointed that none of these issues could be resolved by the staff on duty, other than to put our bottles of water in the fridge in the bar. We were also extremely disappointed to find that when we checked in (at 7pm, as we had arrived much earlier in the day but our room was not ready, so we had gone into Koblenz to explore) we were told that the hotel restaurant was not open, despite it stating that it was when we booked, and in the information in the room. Furthermore we were then told that we could not have our choice of time for breakfast as it had already been taken by other guests. Had we been told of both of these issues when we initially arrived at the hotel, we would have had more dining options available to us. One of the reasons that we chose this hotel was that there was an on-site restaurant.
Location overlooking the Rhine only 700m from main station. Room 17 was very large with outside large balcony with sun lounge couch with view over the river.
It was all good
Obviously being able to sit on the front deck over looking at the ships sailing up and down the Rhine River. Our room was most comfortable with a small outdoor sitting area with a beautiful mural on the wall. The breakfast eats were delicious. And the walking paths with many beautiful flowers. And the two front desk customers were exceptional in answering our questions and being very helpful. And the clearing staff were polite and keep the floors very clean.
It was a non-issue given what we loved about the hotel
Beautiful small hotel right on the Rhein banks.Walk to Deutsche Ecke is aprox 2 miles on a beautiful promenade next to the river.Breakfast is good served in the terrace.Anex room was beautiful!
Not too many options to eat nearby, residential area so no retaurants or stores nearby.
Exceptionally pleasant overall, marred only by the shower design.
The bathroom design in Augusta #8 was poor: it was very difficult to keep shower water within the shower enclosure. We got a lot of water on the bathroom floor, which became even more slippery than it was dry.
Beautiful location one block from riverA bit of a hike to get there from train station but was worth it
A bit of a walk pulling a suitcase from train station and we didn't figure out how to get our suitcases in except up the stairs- once inside we discovered there is a ramp not at all obvious- would recommend a sign on the front door notifying people of other options to get it with suitcases!!!
Fantastic place by the water. Breakfast was great and the staff was super friendly. We were able to park our car with no problem.
