The hotel is situated near the city’s downtown area, 2 minute walk to main city square which littered with nice restaurants and shopping. The breakfast was lovely, fresh orange juice and eggs made to order. Can recommend this boutique hotel to anyone.

Beautiful hotel, friendly and welcoming lady on reception - so sorry, I forgot to ask your name. I believe she is the owner but am not 100% sure. The room was clean, bright, comfortable but also cosy. Great location!!!!! Highly recommend this hotel. We did not eat breakfast ourselves but it looked fantastic when I popped into the breakfast room to return our room key.

Timetravel to the good old days . A lovely hotel rarely seen.I was travelling to Groinchem from Amsterdam for a businerss exhibition, hold in this small village.Arrival to the Groinchem train station daytime. As a business traveller , I was searching for a taxi station, and first surprisre: no taxi station at the railway station. I asked a passanger , where is a taxi station: the answer was : there are no taxi station,but the hotel you look for , its only 3km far away , take a walk !, he said.WOOOOW, I never walk in business trips as I am always in a hurry, but this way what could I do , no Uber around, so I had to walk.After the first 10minutes of walk, I felt something different .Old maximum 1 story level height, hundreds year old buildingsin old dutch style.The time travel started as I was walking through the oldtown.During my 1 hour walk I met 3 cars passing by, 10 people meet, including 2 dog walkers.there are canals in the oldtown, which gives an authentic athmosphere, and strange, but there are no boats in the canals.Finally an old walking street , shopping street started where my hotel was.The shopping street was also empty daytime 2.00pm, which also give a time travel feelinghow old small ducth villages could look 100 years ago, when no high traffic existed.The hotel reception was in a former shop, with a reception table, and i got a very warm welcome.The lady showed me around , and the group of rooms were in the neighbour , formerly big shop area.SO this is a hotel in shop feeling I liked very much, my room viewed to a backyardgardenThe room is very stylish, latest trendy filament lights, the bathroom is much much better , like a 4 star hotel, withvery fine towels and all things needed was prepared very fine qualityI took a walk in this old walking shopping streets, where 30% of the shops are closed due lack of shoppers, aslocals said , internet took the shoppers away.continue in the nextbox as no more space here :)

following the likes box here from above:Intersting , every third existing shops are haircutter shops, they say due to many closed shops the haircutters survive as there are no e -haircutters.The breakfast was perfect, a former coffee shop facing to the street is the breakfast room, near the rooms ,soa real coffee shop feeling was given during breakfast. AMAZING . Everything fresh , very kind stuff, the coffee was a perfect barista quality.I cannot say anything I dont like. Sitting in the shopwindow , having morning coffee, every people (a very few ) passing by in the street, were heading to me and said good morning. WOW. what a real old time feeling, no rush , no music, silent morning. A nice cat is sitting on the top of a flower cast box, the opposite side of the street ,where the morning hotel breakfast coffee located.A passer by girl stops and pets the cat for a minute, then leaves. The cat enjoyed . The time stopped now .So If you want a time travel back to good old dutch days , and want to stay in a lovely , stylish perfecto unique hotel , try this anyway . I will surely come back when in Groinchem next time ,

15 mins by walk far from train station(not 750m) with uneven road surface drag luggages .

Lovely room with comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Nice bathroom.

Very friendly and responsive staff. Located in the town center surrounded by lovely shops and restaurants. The room was super comfortable and quiet.

Check-in was efficient. Host called beforehand to discuss our arrival time. Room was very modern, well equipped, clean and stylish. Location is great if you want to discover Gorinchem

It was very comfortable to stay in this hotel. The staffs were helped us kindly and very professionally.

In the bathroom, the hot water wasn’t hot enough. It was max around 38-40C° . I think if it was hotter it would be more comfortable.

Location was great for restaurants and shopping and old main square. It was a 15 minute walk from bus or train station. Everything we needed was available in room. We took the basic bikes out for a ride to Arkel. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment. I like the idea of a hotel with rooms scattered between buildings.

It seems we got an upgrade to a deluxe suite with a terrace. It is suite 1 I think. The bed is up a metal stair and if you are taller than 5ft8in you cannot stand up in the bedroom area. Some may not enjoy this setup.

This place had the WOW factor, loved everything about it from the hosts, location, facilities, room & breakfast. Everything was to a very high standard & made you feel special. Often when everything looks so good it isn’t as practical or comfortable but I can assure you this wasn’t the case. We had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast is served a couple of doors down & was totally amazing. Choice was incredible & by far the best breakfast of our whole holiday. Again presentation was phenomenal & tasted delicious.

Planning our trip we only had one night here wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic room, close to the city centre and restaurants. It was great you could use the facilities for snacks etc with the kitchenette, and a quiet private garden was a bonus

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. What a beautifully designed, well appointed apartment on the Langendijk. A beautiful shopping street in central Gorinchem. Self catering, close to supermarkets, cafes, hairdressers and the Grote Markt.This area is a picturesque perfect area of the Netherlands. Take bikes and ferries to Sleewijk, Woudrichem, Fort Vuren. A must see. Cruise ships berth in Gorinchem, so sometimes a little busy. Visit Museum Hamel House. History between Holland and Korea. 6euros entry!!!!!

You can't fault it....

A very warm welcome from the owner as well as the personnel at breakfast (breakfast was outstanding and very personalized). The room was spacious and very well equipped, with a personal decoration that makes you feel at home. Also, the owner was helping out at a critical point when I had to find a transport solution to reach my plane, which I did.

Charming hotel managed by lovely people in a perfect location. Breakfast was delicious. They have a dedicated storage unit for bikes and we appreciated that. We will come again.

Cycle touring with family. Accommodated in 2 rooms opposite each other. Secure area to lock the bikes. Housekeeping had put the air-conditioning on in our rooms prior to our arrival on a 33C day...very thoughtful!
