- The hotel and grounds are gorgeous - even has 2 Irish wolfhounds outside. The rooms are lavishly furnished. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Loved chatting with the groundskeeper and breakfast staff, and the castle breakfast is amazing!
- Food
- We thought staying in a Castle would be cool. The inside and grounds were well decorated. Room was quite cozy.
Cons -
- While the music at dinner was at the right volume and lovely in an instrumental nature, we were surprised to hear the Disney track. While we do indeed adore Disney, we were seeking a more authentic Irish experience vs an Americanized make believe one.
- Room was not in the castle Parking for the lodge was insufficient Room was cold Electric didnt work properly
- The front desk Staff was a little snotty. Maybe it was our backpacks but we were treated us poorly. The Bar food was not good, mussels were small with grit in them, lukewarm not hot.
