Hotel is near Leverkusen BayArena, round 15 minutes of walk, parking was possible directly next to hotel without problem.

Tragic communication with the staff during our arrival, we did not get right room and they announced to Booking, that we did not arrive. Mess in Ibis Leverkusen hotel.Room was quite ok, but should be more clean (some dirty wall, dirty carpet), we did not buy breakfest, as it was seen it is not interesting.NO COMMUNICATION ( ALREADY 3 WEEKS, TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK) FROM HOTEL ABOUT MY CLAIM FOR PENALTY - WE WERE ACCOMODATED AND GET PENALTY FOR "NOT ACCOMODATED"

Those hotels are alike all over Europe. You pay the market price and get a clean and basic room.

I was lucky to find a parking place at the front. Those parking bays in the backyard seems to be meant for old VW Beetles.

It was clean and really near the city center.

The neighbours made so much noise.

There weren't enough blankets in the room. We were 3 people.

We couldnt sleep well the room was very hot air condition performance was very bad.

Two big problems: The maid left our door unlocked and ajar which we found when we arrived back at night. Luckily our things did not seem touched. The staff was apologetic and gave us free breakfast.The hotel charged my card AFTER i paid via Booking.com. So i had two charges. Still working through this.

Clean, no fuss checking in, it just worked.

Bed could have been a bit more comfortable (very hard, although at least not worn out).Shower right in the room, no separate bathroom. But I guess that is the 'budget' thing.

Overall good. Breakfast was Ok. Location is far from köln. Need to take S bahn.

Location, price and breakfast

Room: not enough blankets, dirty floors and very small! Light next to mirror broken. In the morning at 8am knocks and entering the room by staff!
