Worst hotel I have seen in 20 years of travelling. Very noisy, no tea or water for breakfast, tiny bedrooms and double beds. The first night we couldn’t sleep until 3am. Breakfast is not good.

Location, value and view.

No AC on the room and it will get warm. Should not be a 5 stars facility. Mattress on bed super hard. No hot water on bathroom to wash your face or hands. Tiny ants in the room. Noise until 2-3 am, people loud in their rooms. Is like a hostel with a bathroom. No safety lock in the door. Elevator can only fit 2 people. Sliding door does not locks. No blankets.

Absolutely nothing one elevator you had to wait a long time you can hear everything from every room the restaurant the food was terrible La comida tenía demasiado condimento. The staff was very rude. Very very rude. The restaurant prices way too high. Breakfast was very basic every day the same thing egg bread, fruits that’s it.

There’s too much to name. I did not like nothing at all about this Hotel. Please read all the reviews before booking. I did not do that and I regret it.

The pool was excellent, the staff was fantastic and the facility was perfect.

Check out was late and besides breakfast (pretty bad), the food on the hotel restaurant was good.

Old and smelly old building. Everything looked old and careless. The room was super noisy just close to the pool and with some noisy appliances inside too.

This is on the lake with amazing views from the balcony which is shared, no matter what room you are in you will get incredible views especially if you wake up early or like to watch sunset. The hotel has wonderful facilities as the pool and hottub are great and a fine way to watch and admire the landscape. The staff are friendly and the location within a short walk into town or the rock so you can leave the car in the carpark and go for a short walk.

The beds were hard … very noise.. the reception area echoes into the room. You will not sleep! One small fan in the room… there were 4 of us and it was a nightmare.

good location, just outside the busy area but a nice walk into town. very good food and service. staff were very helpful and friendly. pool was a great addition to the hotel.

we booked a superior double but found this too small for our weeks stay so upgraded to a larger room. staff were very helpful in arranging this straight away.

If you value peace and comfort, this is not the place for you.The mattress and pillows are uncomfortable.Located right by the highway, so it's very noisy, even at night.Loud music plays all day long in the pool area.

Issue with water in rooms there was no water available in the hotel during one night.

One night stay. Checked in nice room overlooking the lakes. 5 minute drive from central Guatape. Staff put the jacuzzi on for us on request. Had a beer and enjoyed the views. Room was nice and clean and bed comfy. No complaints. Wifi was ok.Breakfast was good traditional Colombian.

Not much to like.

Room was a concrete box with a bed so uncomfortable we had to leave and find another hotel. I would not recommend to anyone. Booking. Com had this hotel rated as 4 stars. It is NOT. 1 star at best.

Room clean, bed OK, good water pressure

Zero soundproofing. Every foot squeak, chair shift, throat clear, conversation, fork clank, etc, from the echoey lobby / 1st floor breakfast area came pouring into my 'superior' 2nd floor room, and the soundproofing from the road is poor and there was a constant stream of loud moto noise. Staff were yelling down the hall and in lobby before 8am. This was one of the loudest rooms and hotels I've stayed in and I've stayed in a ton of hotels in Latin America and over 70 countries around the world. For the price which is not cheap for Colombia (200k pesos) this isn't acceptable. Hotels need to do a better job with actual quality of customer experience and not just putting up an appearance of it. Even my pretty good earplugs did not block the noise enough. Also, the roll-down blinds didn't block much light and the room was mostly lit up by sun by 6:30am when I woke up. I was a late arrival and came here just to get some rest, but was forced up after 4 hours of sleep due to the very loud, incessant noise and light. Many in Latin America seem to be immune to a large extent to annoying noise so hotels get away with poor design and attention to detail; but if you're sensitive to noise at all, not recommended. I hate to bash a business but this was just over the top and needs to be balanced against the other reviews that hoodwinked me.

The pool and spa were nice.

The room we received was smaller than the one we had booked. The wifi didn’t work in our room. The location is not very convenient to walk to El Peñol (we did walk) because despite the short distance the road is too narrow, so you’re next to buses, trucks & cars. It would be amazing if they develop a path. Breakfast was nice.
