Hotel Real Guatapé

The location was unmatched, and very safe! The staff that manages the hotel were so helpful and even if i don't speak Spanish they went out of their way to get me the information I needed and would help me to get to my destination. Such great staff and the room was basic but comfortable and clean!

Location is very central. Staff was helpful. Warm water.

Small room, atmosphere was humid and the bathroom had no window. Bad mattress and the room window faces the corridor where everyone arr passing by.

The hotel had a great location and we were allowed to check in early. The hotel did allow us to pay with credit card after they looked for and found their device to use with credit cards.

Our room was on the 5th floor with no elevator so had to be careful going up and down with luggage.

If you need to rest please bare in mind to ask for a room that is not facing the main street. It is quite loud in the night and we did not manage to sleep well!

The location was great right next to the photo spots like the hallway of the umbrellas and the plaza de los zocalos. A lot of affordable stores and restaurants .

The facilities were clean enough. And you can have the option of re-using your towel. Don't expect an extremely clean room. Also, the wifi connection was a bit off at times.

Price and location

The 5th floor walk up was a bit much. Open ceiling on bathroom made things a little noisy at times ;-) It wasn't luxury, but great for three persons and right in the center of town. We were happy.

Amazing location, coffee for free, very basic horel room, but unbeatable price. Perfect for our two nights stay.

Bed was confortable

No hot water, limited running water, no soap. Location is on the busiest street that means it is loud from 7am to midnight. The windows don’t close fully, no sound isolation. First offered room had a window inside the wall that lead to a hallway. They market rooms as if they have windows in them when that is not the case. The front desk seemed extremely annoyed because of my lack of language skills. When leaving the property I wanted to pay with a card and agreed to be charged 5% extra but never did he mention adding himself a tip and charging me for such a brilliant stay extra.
