- Everything about this hotel was wonderful, the staff, the view was breathtaking, breakfast was great!
- The hotel was amazing. It was exceptionally clean with a fantastic room, view, phenomenal pool, and the restaurant was great. The staff made me feel like they’ve been my friends for my entire life. Alessia, Brittany and Armando along with the rest of the staff really seemed to go out of their way to ensure I was happy. I would definitely stay here again, and would certainly recommend it to anyone going to the Amalfi Coast
- Hotel Raito is a special place at the eastern edge of the Amalfi Coast with wonderful views of the Sea and part of Salerno. The well appointed rooms, the terraces and the swimming pool all take advantage of the panorama. The dining room had a sophisticated menu and very good food. My wife gave a thumbs up to a massage she had at the spa. The staff at the hotel were excellent. Special thanks to Alessia, a concierge, who initiated a room upgrade and a complimentary bottle of wine for us.
Cons -
- Restaurant was a little pricey
- Nothing, all perfect! The shower was a little small for the family but thats it!
- The bathroom shower was too small. Although I’m a larger than average person, my wife who’s smaller than average, had a hard time showering.

Incredible. Location was fantastic with free shuttle service that brought you in and out of the center when necessary! The views were fantastic and the property was just breathtaking.

All staff members were very helpful and friendly to us and our small dog who travels everywhere with us. I’d like to say a special thank you to Victoria (hotel manager) Carmelo, Armando and Francesca at the front desk. Also Giuseppe, Giovani, Franco and Carla were exceptional wait staff on the terrace for breakfast.

We have stayed at Ray before and every time it exceeds our expectations. Convivial, caring staff with attention to detail and beautiful setting.
Lighting was a little too bright in the dining hall at night.
There was a great selection of foods for breakfast. We missed our train exit the night we arrived creating a need to book a ticket back to the area. I kept the staff apprised of our problem and we received a call from a staff member who stayed on the phone and walked us through the train station when we finally arrived and had a car waiting for us. We were very grateful for the help and thought he went above and beyond in helping us diffuse the tension that we felt late at night in a new town.
It was great the way it was.Unfortunately, the eggs and sausages were usually cold although in warming dishes.
Our room had a terrace/patio and beyond that lounge recliners that faced the sea. Unfortunately, it rained off and on the three nights that we spent at the Raito. The breakfast buffet was exceptional with a huge variety of options, all quality products, including custom made crepes. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful, answering any question with offers of making reservations and giving us suggestions on restaurants they enjoy. Their mastery of English was very much appreciated. The shuttle bus to town was a good way to get there. We had a car, but parking in town is quite limited, except at the beach/port.
The shower, which was adequate for us, was possibly the smallest that I have ever experienced in over 50 years of travel throughout the world.
Location overlooking the water and Salerno
There were areas on the exterior of the buildings look g down over the walls that needed to be cleaned up,
Where do I start?? The hotel was amazing. The decor is awesome, the view is extraordinary and the room was wonderful. The restaurant was delicious. The sunrises over Vietri are insanely good. Carmello, Alessia, and Bridgetta were so helpful as well as all the other staff. We have the best time. The room was very updated and clean with a great view and private terrace. There is a spa with an indoor pool with a hot tub section. The spa also has a sauna and steam room. There are shuttles to Vietri downtown that run often. It is an easy location to get to from the airport in Naples. I would highly recommend this hotel. They even treated us to some special treats such as champagne and strawberries in our room. We absolutely loved it and hope to go back soon.
I liked everything about this hotel. It was easy to get to town, it had a great view, a spa and you could easily get a drink or eat in the nice restaurant.
The view was excellent, breakfast was ample and very good
The taxis the hotel used included one who was too fast and aggressive. Others were ok We were with this gentleman three times going into town so clearly he had some relationship with this driver .
I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. The service and customer care were truly outstanding. Both the reception and room service teams provided excellent support throughout my visit.
Magnificent view and beautiful gardens in a good location. The stuff was very polite and obliging.
Service and amenities were not on a five star level. Only one reastaurant was working.
Beautiful rooms and view Great service Kind staffAmazing breakfast !
Very nice of you big balcony go swimming pool.
Friendly stuff reception nice food good location helpful nice room
Great views. Great breakfast and dinners.Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Too far to the beach
Absolutely beautiful view and the room terrace was perfect. Wish I stayed longer!
Nothing! It was perfect for me. My 87 year old would have appreciated an elevator that goes to the pool but other than that it was spectacular
Stunning views and an amazing balcony
Spa opening hours, variety on menu, value for money
Great welcoming hotel staff, modern rooms and suites with sublime sea views, very clean and safe common areas, expansive breakfast, spacious hotel with many seating areas and pool bar and restaurants, excellent for weddings, day trip concierge services, wellness services, free shuttle service to Vietri, close to Naples and Salerno airports, close to Amalfi & Positano water taxis from Port. Riato village uphill. Vietri downhill. Partner hotel in Rome and Sicily. Genuine Southern Italian hospitality. Would definitely return.
Occasionally spotty WiFi. Capri is a longer boat ride.
Great staff, room was excellent to a beautiful terrace, breakfast was above average, loved the fresh crepes and pancakes made upon requests. They had a shuttle that took you down to the town so you can catch the ferry.
The shuttle could run more often.
