Pros +
- Staff, location, less than 10km to central Milan. Free parking mall and shopping center just across the road.
- Location, quite, good restaurant, free parking, proximity to Milan.
- Beautiful hotel and grounds. Restaurant on the property was very good (a bit on the pricey side but not too bad). Rooms are well appointed and have great character (and very good size for Europe). Staff was very helpful. If you're visiting Milan, it's on the edge of the city --- there is not much around there but it's only a short walk to the metro.
Cons -
- The restaurant is terrible both in service and food. I recommend to avoid the restaurant. The staff were so kind to recommend a restaurant which provided free roun6 trip transportation and the food was excellent.
- Air conditioning was off through out my stay of 3 nights when Milano heat was sizzling at 30+. The room was so hot and receptionists refused to turn it on, citing season as the but suggested to open windows instead- to invite bugs and mosquitoes in!!
- We have asked about booking a taxi to the airport. We had a 6 am flight so they offered their own car service which was very reasonably priced so we accepted the offer. However, the driver never showed up the next morning and we had to scramble for a taxi (fortunately, the staff was helpful in this regard).

Nice to be in a hotel again. Clean and upscale. The pillows were the best I’ve had on this trip. Loved having robe and slippers.
Farther from metro than I had considered, DID NOT have laundry facilities like it says on booking. Laundry services are only on weekdays (I went on a weekend- stupid me). Had to go to a laundry mat.
This hotel will offers you a great 4 stars service with a smile and welcoming in a great authentic building style. They have a free parking at the property and very close to Milan center. There’s a walkable shopping center near the the hotel.
Everything was perfect to my two nights stay.
Beautiful heritage building especially the breakfast hall. The rooms are also beautifully and comfortably arranged.
I wish it’s closer to a metro station
The history of the property, the spaciousness of the rooms/bathroom, the staff was EXCELLENT--way above average.
The bathroom lighting is bad for styling hair, applying makeup. There is an unpleasant smell in the bathroom that never goes away.
A wonderful hotel that combines the elegance of a building with its own history and modern comfort. Beautiful interiors, green area and high-level service. The breakfast was very good. We ordered dinner in the room and the dishes are also very tasty.
Excellent breakfast, room was spacious and clean.
I kept turning the heating down but it kept returning to 'too hot'.
Horrible
Worst Hotel Experience ever! It's a very old building, not well-maintained, showers not working at all and room are not clean, spider webs everywhere. Horrible experience overall.
Disappointing
The level of maintenance is extremely poor, the armchair in the room is full of stains and disgusting to sit on, cockroaches are crushed all over the walls of the room, there is a feeling of lack of cleanliness, and when I contacted the hotel staff I was told that I was right but if they had any rooms available they could change. An omelet in the room on a food board took 30 minutes to make. The hotel is in a very rough neighborhood with prostitutes around it and certainly not a respectful place.A very low level and the name "Hilton" certainly does not suit this hotel and is not related
It’s a beautiful estate
This time I selected an upgraded room but it was smaller than in my previous stay without an upgrade
The hotel is a beautifully restored villa in a quiet area surrounded by a park but close enough to transportation to Milano and stores.
What was supposed to be a luxurious treat at this “4 star” Hilton hotel, that was an abandoned villa across the street from where we grew up in Sesto, especially for my brother returning from Canada after 30 years, became a huge disappointment. The room we got, 312, had an inoperative thermostat, a poorly cleaned bathroom (orange and black mold around the tub) and toilet that reeked of urine upon our arrivalBoth my brother’s and our bathrooms had a slipshod shower system with poor water pressure, leaks and jiggly faucet. The heater and towel warmer were not working which left the bathroom cold and damp throughout the day.Additionally, only one out of two elevators was working for the entire length of our stay (four nights).Breakfast was not included and costed 18 Euro per person.Parking was not included and costed 18 Euro per nightThe worst was that, the staff, from the receptionists, to the dining area attendant, and maintenance (except one named Alessandro in the front desk) were unhelpful and indifferent. On our first night they sent their maintenance guy to “fix” the heater but nothing came of it. We asked again on our 2nd night after dealing with a constantly damp and cold bathroom, and the older male receptionist was snippy, unapologetic and reasoned that it was turned off by the manager for the entire hotel way before we even arrived, so what was the maintenance guy wiggling and waggling the controls for the other night, without so much as an explanation? It’s the middle of October and nights are cold. He dismissed the problem and hung up without offering a solution on how we could dry our towels and heat the bathroom. We ended up calling the front desk again and ask if we could at least get a portable heater. It is a true shame that such a spectacular property is so irreverently and carelessly managed.
Front desk staff were very nice (but cleaning and maintenance staff obviously useless)
The room was dirty. The bathroom was dirty. The room was cold. The bathroom was cold. Showerhead did not work.
Great services, wonderfully designed and restored old building, beautiful interiors and very comfortable and clean rooms, courteous and obliging staff, excellent and elegantly served breakfast, free parking available. Simply put, an excellent location to stay when visiting the incredibly beautiful, modern and sophisticated city of Milano.
Location.
Upgraded rooms, got worse than I saw at photos. Went gor shower, no shower gel, no shampoo.Sewage smell at shower.Walls were dirty in both rooms, very dirty.Tamburin seats were dirty. In one of the rooms spiders & dust.Got two roons not next to each other & I asked for it.Got ground floor not really to be at with small kids.Late night went to watch tv, no tv remote in one of the rooms.Employees do not say hello or similar at all.
We were there to attend a concert as the event location was very close. The surprise was that the headliner band was also staying in the hotel. The staff was very kind and the service in general was beyond all our expectations. The room was very comfortable and everything was perfect!
Unique and beautiful facilities, also very comfortable. Great breakfast and room service. Wonderful restaurant on site.
While location was fairly close to the conference attended, it was a bit distant from most popular sightseeing destinations which made taxi fares more expensive. However, there are Metro stops in reasonable walking distance
The room was lovely. If a little dark. Beautiful bathroom. No shower gel left. No problem as we had our own. Easy walkable distance to the metro stop bignoli. Short tram ride into the city for only 2.20 euros. Walk over the road to as shopping mall.
Not a great area but that’s not the hotels fault.
Absolutely beautiful and unique location. The villa has such charm and old-world grandeur. The staff is lovely and so helpful, the rooms are quite big and beautifully designed - and they are very clean. The bed was comfortable as well. Breakfast was good too, there were a lot of options, from savory to sweet. I ordered room service at night and it arrived right on time and was delicious. It was a great experience, it’s a shame I was only there for one night. I will have to stay lingering next time.
