    Pros +

    • The staffs were all very friendly. They can meet almost all your requirements. They even knew who you were when you arrive. That has been an impressive experience to me.
    • Easy access by car with plenty of parking.
    • Everything was like home. Home made yougurt, perfect eggs off all kinds, Cappucino etc.

    Cons -

    • On the website, it says that pickup shuttle bus is available. But I did not know how to order. So, it took me about two hours from the airport to arrive. I took the 51 bus, the U-Bahn and finally had to call an Uber which costed me 45 Euro. I have been travelled alone all the time. But this time has been an exhausting one. I am not blaming the hotel. I am just saying that there is something that can be improved.
    • It has some nice decorations, but some things also need updating a bit, for example bed and bathroom
    • No changes needed.

Villa Meerbusch is a stately old mansion that feels like you’ve stepped into a bygone era—- in a GOOD way! The rooms are large and well furnished with antiques. The breakfast is massive and well presented, with everything prepared/baked onsite. The owners are genteel and warm. The downtown area is easily walkable.

    No changes needed.

Very nice hotel. Small and comfortable. Breakfast is a must have. Very convenient connection to the city centre since the tram stop is in 50 meters distance. Tram is very often and visitors should avoid using their cars in the city centre.Staff is vey helpful and provides valuable information for the city and the region.

Very nice place to stay, calm, clean and friendly with wonderful breakfast - a small island in the middle of turbulent summer exhibition to calm down.

Access to WiFi was difficult and my virus protection prevented access.

Fantastic period Villa. Fast connection into Dusseldorf. Spacious and tasteful. Phenomenal breakfast. One of the best Omelettes ever eaten. Try the cheese and vegetable.

    10LisaPosted on: 10-15-2023

It was was a wonderful spread of homemade breads, jams, chocolate as well as freshly made eggs, bacon and waffles(if you wanted these). The room was like an English Tea house with a lovely decor and piano. Wide selections of breakfast drink selection as well.

The host was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic and homemade. I appreciate that everything was individually wrapped which made it very hygienic.

    A bit expensive.

    5StefanPosted on: 6-15-2023

The staff are friendly. The breakfast lounge is very warm and homie. The breakfast looked good but I did not get because 20Euro is to expensive.

Old, I was put in a room in the basement with no view to the outside. No coffee in room. very small space. Over priced for what you get by far.

Nice old villa and very welcoming host. Atmosphere is unmatched, everything looks as it was built a century ago. Great big bathtub. Cute private terrace in front of the room.

If you want new-new beds etc- this is not a place for you.
