Pedra Residence

One of the prettiest accommodations we've been to!! So cute and decorated with care. Has everything you need (many towels, small kitchen, toiletries etc.) The owners are amazing, very kind to adapt check in/out to our ferry schedules. The terrace with the volcano and sea view is out of this world!!

The bed looks a bit older and has separate mattresses, but after the volcano hike we slept like babies :) :)

The moment I had to leave

Everything. Staff, cleanliness, spacious, hot showers,close to the beach ( that is not near the port ), amazing rooftop terrace with 360 views of the sea and on the other side - Iddu looming over you.There is coffee and tea for you and an electric stove if you want to cook.The property is 1km from the port - you can walk (uphill) if don’t have too much luggage or can take a taxi.

The breakfast is at a nearby cafe so you'll have to go there in the morning and "order". I got 2 pastries, a coffee and orange juice. The "hotel" is in a quiet area of the village(not that the village is crazy) and they have a nice multi level terrace that you can chill on during the day and even during the night, listening to the booms of the volcano. I have no idea what other facilities there are, the reception person didn't tell me anything about them. I was able to checkin in slightly earlier because my room was ready, so that's appreciated. My room had some tableware and silverware but no sink to wash them. the wifi was more than ok.

only has a good view! otherwise nothing was as expected. dirty, no reception, smelled bad, no option for breakfast, gym was closed without any notice beforehand.

During winter time, it is strange to not know the instructions to get into the rooms maybe to have a WhatsApp or any communication channel can help to communicate faster.

The location and the place looks nice.

It was dirty, no towel, no oil, no basic cooling facilities (all the pans and plates were dirty before we arrive), the water was super cold, they started renovating the ceiling and making big big noises while our stay, the sheets were not washed, not enough shampoo, the electric stove was not working, we didn't have even water in the fridge, host not responding.

Don’t stay there! The place is very dirty and there were bed bugs in our bed. We saw them literally walking across our bed and we found the typical black dots from bed bug excrements on the mattress. There was also no hot water. We booked 2 nights but left after the first night due to the hygiene problems. They didn’t reimburse us anything.

The room was nice. The details were beautiful and in style. The roof terrace was awesome. Also they had enough things for cooking on kitchen. They brought us coffee after we asked for breakfast so we can make it in the morning.

Where to begin, let’s start that we texted them when we will arrive but there was nobody there. Nobody was responding the phone number, also not the one on Google. We had to go to a shop to ask the locals to call the owner. Only after that someone came to check us in. When I asked for the breakfast that was included in the price they said there was no breakfast. The place where had to have all you can eat breakfast was closed but then they brought some breakfast from a shop for us (not enough for two btw) but I had to ask! The shower was shit, the water pressure was very low and definitely not enough water for two people to take it. I understand it is the end of the season but not knowing the breakfast is in the price and even if the place where we had to have it is closed they had to think about other ways to be ready for it or not include it!

Exceptional

the staff serving breakfast in the near cafe should be much more friendly and communicate better with the forigners. the young ladies did not speak English, they were not showing any hospitality or willingness to explain anything and we felt like we bother them. there were only sweet options to select from, only a very small glass of orange juice and no fruit at all. for someone not used to sweat breakfast it is difficult to eat the same every day. there was noone to explain what can be ordered or how the system works, so the breakfast was actually the worst moment of the day for us.

Expensive

Large bedroon with 3 beds. The breakfast is included but you have to go in a restaurant downton to take it. The kitchen exist but very small and nothing to maje a small breakfast

Good location, quiet area and well priced. Breakfast in one of the best island spots included.

Furniture could be a bit more modern.

Lovely spacious room. The roof terrace was perfect for sitting on in the evening and watching the plumes of smoke from the volcano. Breakfast is not on-site, rather it is a 10-minute walk up to the Ingrid cafe. There you can get delicious pastries, granita and coffee.A taxi/golfcart from the port is recommended if you have luggage as the residence is an uphill walk, quite tough in the summer heat.

The room was bigger than it seemed on the pictures, perfect for 2 adults and 2 teens for a few days. The terrace was simply amazing, wonderful views and beautiful plants. Breakfast at a nearby cafe was included and very Sicilian (sweet and coffee, no eggs etc). The kitchen is tiny but has everything you need, and coffee capsules are available in the reception. One of the few appartements I've booked here that actually have adequate cultery, plates, glasses etc. We had a wonderful stay and recommend it to everyone!A la prossima!

The bathroom, while clean, could use a deep clean in all the nooks and crannies.

The breakfast was good the first time. It was in a nearby restaurant. The next day it was organised by the hotel themselves. Not as good.

The location was good for us. It was easy to find and the beds were comfy. It's very quiet and peaceful.

Everything is very basic. I was under the impression there would be a kettle and a fridge but that's not the case. The plates and cuttlery were all really greasy. It would be helpful if the owner would provide dishwasher liquid. We were prepared and brought ours but that's a suggestion. The chairs and tables on the terracce were really dusty and would benefit from a daily wipe. There is no breakfast included. I was misled by previous reviews. Price too high for what you get....

The location is a short walk to the volcano trail.

We were told by the woman at reception that because it was off-season (March 26th), there was no breakfast and the only restaurant was down in the port, a 20 minute walk away. My kids were very disappointed. The shared rooftop deck with views of the volcano was cluttered with overflowing ash trays and discarded appliances. Disgusting.

The attitude of the employees: the location of the reception is not very easy to find, when we were looking for it and wrote a message to the host, they responded in italian, but they did not bother to come out and guide us, while there were two receptionists and no other guest. So they have to learn some hospitality for this price.
