Hotel Bougainville

It was an excellent location and very clean. The amenities (pool) were as advertised and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

The beds were a touch hard but still comfortable. Same with the pillows.

Everything was fantastic,especially the staff. All of them were very friendly and first class. The location was very good,the pool wonderful and breakfast delicious. Then main thing was the staff,all spoke English very well and were all very knowledgeable about the area and what to do.

Perched above town, though walkable to the port, the hotel felt like a true getaway. Staff were friendly and very helpful. From pick up to drop off at the port our stay was a problem free.

I think one of the best hotels I have ever been. Super clean, beautiful and very comfortable. Next time I will be in Lipari I will most definitely stay at Hotel Bouganville.

If I do have to find one small thing I wished was different it would be the breakfast. It didn't seemed fresh

Good location, nice swimming pool and large rooms with terrace, quiet.

They offered a shuttle service to the beach without saying we would have to pay 32€ and get a seat at the beach club, we found out once there, were not interested and had to walk back to the hotel, the shuttle didn’t take us back. This is an attempt to get money from tourists in a very sneaky way, this is very disappointing

The location short walk to town and amazing views rooms were very spacious

The staff was excellent and could not be more friendly and helpful, especially Giuditta who worked at reception. She answered all of our questions and made any arrangements we needed.

Beautifully located hotel with attractive gardens, pool, and surroundings. An extensive breakfast was prepared each morning, and housekeeping attended to the rooms each day, providing clean towels. 10 minute walk to the central waterfront of Lipari town.

The room had a musty stale odor when we first arrived. The a/c eventually cleared it up.

The grounds were stunning, the pool was nice, and the hotel was super clean and well appointed. The staff are welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

- Nice garden and building- Nice view-the persons serving the breakfast were very kind and spreading good mood

- 280 € per night is way too much for this old school hotel- Breakfast (poor quality, very unhealthy and untasty, nothing self made beside eggs)- Room (shower and bath needs renovation)- Decoration and reception area (needs renovation)- No water or coffee offered in the room

The hotel is perfectly located a little bit outside town (10 minute walk) and up hill so you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea, mountains and town. The pictures definitely not make enough justice to the place as is way nicer. Rooms are spacious, quiet and with nice terraces and balconies.The staff is beyond amazing, all very nice, kind and friendly, they make you feel at home. The food is delicious, and all the freshly baked cakes they have for breakfast, I wish I had another stomach.The area of the pool is nice and quiet, and the water temperature is refreshing for hot summer months on the island.
