Hotel Mea - Aeolian Charme

The hotel was charming and convenient with beautiful views. I loved the private outdoor area. We spent several very pleasant afternoons at the pool bar. The staff was very helpful booking excursions and a massage.

The air conditioning wasn't working well. We were only in the room at night and it was warm.

Friendly staff in Good location with a short 10 minute walk to the main area of Lipari. The hotel also offers a great pool area.

The bathrooms could do with an upgrade in particular the showers. The breakfast could be improved, hot items such as eggs were cold.

The hotel staff was very helpful in organizing for us a last minute tour to Stromboli, and gave us good tips on exploring Lipari. The room was pleasant and had great sea views.

The evening dinner is from a fixed menu and not a buffet style, but the staff did a great effort to accommodate special requests (vegetarian dishes etc.).

Location and crew. The entire staff is of an extraordinary, very positive disposition.

They need more people at the pool. One person is not enough

We loved the breakfast, the close proximity to the town and ferry service. Beautiful, clean grounds with helpful, accomodating staff. Very helpful as we had bikes we needed to store during our stay. Nothing we asked was an issue. Highly recommend

The air conditioning didn’t work. Went to reception for help several times and was told each time it’s working now. Staff was the most unfriendliest in our 2 weeks in Sicily.

Everything! The location, the room, the pool, and especially the meals. Buffett breakfast was delicious.

The pool setup and the banana lounges were great. Breakfast was decent as as well. Staff were lovely.

The hotel was beautiful and had a wonderful view. It was a short walk from the center of town yet felt removed enough to be like a resort. The breakfast was wonderful and delicious and the staff was very helpful and friendly. There were nice options for getting to the beach and the staff was helpful in directing me on tours and things to do in Lipari.

The room was a bit small and the sliding doors allowed some bugs in which bit me during the night. The property was a little confusing to navigate for the rooms that did not open into the hotel hallway.

Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from. Very friendly service, especially from Giuseppe.

We requested two single beds which we didn’t get.

We were lucky to be upgraded and had a beautiful view of the sea. Breakfast was included in our booking and it was delicious.

The only issue were ants in the room.

Loved the room, breakfast and pool area. We arrived mid-June so just ahead of the crowds. Great selection of restaurants for evening meals. Perfect location for visiting the old castle and museum, and for boat trip around the islands and Stromboli.

Next time we'll upgrade to a room with a sea view.

The location was close to the main town & had a lovely view. It was quiet and very clean. The breakfast was very good. The scrambled eggs were very good. The staff were friendly & helpful.
