Exceptional hotel, opulent ambiance, excellent spa.

Winter break. The underfloor heating in our suite was unchangeable and could not be managed. Even after activating the air conditioner, the room remained very warm, making it difficult to sleep.Staff members were friendly but were unable to provide much assistance

A pleasant stay. Loved the merging of traditional with contemporary architecture. The hotel is filled with pieces from the owner's quirky art collection which we found interesting but perhaps lacking unity as a whole. Still, the public areas are charming and inviting, our favorites being the bar and the terrace. The rooms are comfortable and the spa facilities outstanding. The staff is warm and their service is impeccable. We loved the feeling of being away from the city and closer to nature. It was a relaxing trip.A stroll through Cycling Through the Water bridge was well worth the 30 min drive. As was our visit to the Terrill's Resort where you can hike or bike on a bridge on the lake. We also enjoyed the town of Masseik, where Jan Van Eyck is said to have been born.

The restaurant Le Ciel: slow staff and the food wasn’t that good

The atmosphere in the hotel was fantastic. The staff were very welcoming.There was a lovely sense of peace and quiet, and considering it was after a crazy Christmas, we appreciated the break.

The vegetarian options were very disappointing. Having 3 pasta dishes and one gnocchi dish was a little unimaginative. Particularly considering there is a micheline star restaurant on the same premisesThe pillows were unfortunately massive and so uncomfortable. Neither of us had a good night sleep because of them.

The hotel had a great spa. Bed was comfortable, room was so nice.

The only thing is about the restaurant of the hotel; I found it expensive despite the fact that food was not that tasty.

Massage was fully booked, only 25 min neck and back massage was available, yes I was trying to book for following day yet there should be more capacity considering that it’s a spa hotel

Very nice and chic hotel, we got upgraded to a larger room and had a nice Check-in. The hotel is very beautiful decorated and the staff is very friendly. Everything was super clean and the beds are like little clouds. Spa is equipt with everything you wish for. Breakfast and bar are superb.

The hotel was just fantastic, beautiful room, super comfortable bed, a TV in the bathroom is just fantastic they have a good and healthy breakfast was superbe.The service is top, in the restaurant and reception.Very nice spa,indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi outside,is just the best,you can enjoy even when its raining outside.I recommend this hotel..Will sure come back..

We had a superb stay in the hotel, which is located in very quiet surroundings. The hotel, lobby, restaurant and rooms are beautifully decorated and offer a relaxing atmosphere. I particularly loved the plants and glass roof in the restaurant, giving it a bit the feeling of a rainforest refuge. The rooms are very spacious.

Overall it is quite expensive.

Nice hotel and very quite

It is a good breakfast but the price is over the top, 45 euro's per person is too much for a breakfast.

Beautifully designed and maintained hotel with great facilities. The beds were nice and the room very sound proof. The park surrounding the hotel is lovely for walks. We enjoyed the free coffee and water.

Some things were too expensive - €25 for a pilates session and €45 for breakfast. The hotel is on lots of different levels and is not very accessible for those in wheelchairs.

Very long wait for dinner in the main restaurant (1,5 hour). It was rather slippery shower tray in the room for my husband.

Beautifully decorated and luxurious hotel. The staff were great and the room was spacious. The hotel is nicely located on a park so it’s great to have a long walk before the using the spa and then dinner.

The bathroom had a glass dividing wall and the glass door didn’t even stay closed (so it’s not ideal for people who don’t know each other well!) The bistro was pleasant but expensive for what we had. We ordered 2 espressos and were charged €19.

We celebrated my partners 50th birthday, hotel rooms, spa and cleanness were perfect!

In the evening we had diner in the brasserie, staff was very stressed but food was amazing!!
