- You feel they are trying to get money out of everything !Parking E60Breakfast E 60 ppÀ coffee E 10 Diner at the Bistro the same :Very expensive and still E 8 for some fries !Cheapeat glass of wine E 22.BTW no Sole available !
- The hotel is nice. The problem, however, is that the facilities (bar, wellness, etc.) are also open to the public and are popular, resulting in long queues. Over the past 2 years, I have stayed at this hotel 3 times, and each time I have had to wait a long time for a place at the bar, and the wellness (I.e. massage) is always fully booked. It feels wrong that, as a hotel guest, I cannot even get a drink without waiting 30 minutes, unless I go at less popular times.
- Breakfast. We were asked to wait which we had no issue with. When it came to be seated the hostess tried to seat us on a table with others which we declined. They proceeded to pull a face and seated people behind us in the queue which we found very unprofessional. The breakfast sitting is until 10.30, we arrived at 10. The food wasn’t replenished perhaps as they were running to the end of the sitting however the breakfast is very expensive so we would expect a good food selection to be available. Very chaotic and really not worth what is charged.

Felt luxurious and very clean.

The location is convenient and central. The overall ambience and almostphere. The garden spaces and courtyards.High end gastronomical experience.
very poor and highly uncompentent level of the booking and FoH staff members.Orientation towards issue solving was almost absent. The process from post booking, addressing certain requests for a comfortable stay, check in procedures, require particular attention to ensure a smooth, worry free and customer friendly experience.
Perfect location in the centre. The hotel is like an oasis. Staff is very helpful and attentive, super. The gym is one of the best I used in hotels ever.
My little critism is....breakfast....not a sea of choice but the charge is 60 eu per person. What am I supposed to eat for that large amount, its out of bounce (not only here, but in many hotels with 5* its a winning businessmodel).
Exceptionally exclusive ambience, set within a former monastery. Beautifully designed and meticulously maintained. The spa is exquisite, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was truly remarkable.
It’s quite a busy hotel, with many events taking place, so it can feel a bit crowded at times — naturally, given its central location.

Beautiful property at a great location in the city center of Antwerp. All the city’s main attractions are within walking distance. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and the rooms are wonderful. Loved their breakfast. Also Henry’s Bar is definitely worth a visit
The spa facilities are wonderful, the only downside is it was quite crowded when we visited during the weekend.
The staff ist very welcoming, the Henry 's bar is great to Take a champagner or two ;) , Bar Bulot was very nice dining (take the vol-au-vent)
I tend to pay money for good things, but 60 Euro p.p. for a continental breakfast ? The dining in Bar Bulot the evening bevor was nearly cheaper then the breakfast (and this is dining experience). I don't think this is a reasonable pricing. Took it on the first day skipped it on the second day and was just around the corner to have a lovely breakfast. With reasonable pricing.
Lovely clean property with friendly helpful staff.
Noise from the bins and recycling being emptied in the early hours woke us early every morning.
Very poor
I booked Botanic Sanctuary expecting a peaceful city escape, but instead got woken up at 5:45 am by trash collection right outside my window. The trucks kept coming every 30 minutes until around 10am, making it impossible to sleep. For a hotel that sells itself as a “getaway in the city,” this is both ironic and unacceptable, especially given the price point. The spa is no better. It’s marketed as serene, but in reality it feels like a chaotic, overcrowded bazaar. There’s no sense of calm or organization, and certainly nothing “sanctuary-like” about it.Overall, the name Botanic Sanctuary couldn’t be further from the experience. Between the noise, the lack of rest, and the disorganized spa, the stay was absolutely not worth the money.
Location was fantastic. Food very good and bar and spice nice.
We were charged twice on checkout which we raised at the time but was told without doubt only one payment was taken. Being nearly £9000 this was annoying in itself but worse was how long it took to resolve. Several messages.
Good breakfast with excellent service from the staffs of the hotel. Hotel location is wonderful as it is within walking distance to food, shopping and transportation hub in Antwerp.
A place for car park would have made it more lovelier. Other than that, no other comments on this part.

Bistro’s HenriFabulous service excellent foodVery good how the waiter makes one bottle of wine during the entire dinner
Entrance with the car very congested
Friendly, accommodating and professional staff, fabulous cuisine, convenient location and very comfortable & special property.
Spa, Room and Breakfast!
Breakfast was first class
The only comment would be the food in the bar, although excellent, could have been simpler. We found the flavours were rich, with foam and not so much to our liking. .
Lovely hotel, a beautiful zen sanctuary to escape after a day in the city. Very helpful staff, and a wonderful breakfast.
An unfortunate foul smell in the sinks after emptying the bath. Limited room service menu especially for vegetarians.
