Pros +
- Beautiful property and great interior design. Great private spa experience. Nice bar.
- A very beautiful stylish hotel in a nice neighborhood in Antwerp. The rooms are big and the shower was amazing. The restaurant and breakfast are amazing. A true boutique hotel as you should expect. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- The design is nice
Cons -
- Quite a lot of inexperienced staff with a lack of knowledge of the surrounding area plus very slow service. Pleasant enough but not very accommodating. Felt a bit like a hotel school rather than a luxury experience. Bad drain smell in our suite.
- It was difficult to find a power outlet to charge your phone. The hotel was very quiet, therefore we found the price quite high.
- Shabby walls, getting old looking, parking wasn’t great. Woken up in the middle of the night by staff pushing trolleys outside my window. Floorboards creek upstairs and a rooms not very well sound proof. Thermostats were locked in each room.

Amazing renovation. Great hotel with character.
Staff is friendly but not in enough quantity. They are constantly running everywhere. Which might lead to long waiting times
Great design, atmosphere, friendly staff and a bar worth visiting. It also smells really nice.
We could hear everything from upstairs and this interrupted our sleep. Next night we were moved in a different room in a different part of the hotel and we didn’t have this issue. Breakfast portions are also a bit tiny.
Dinner is Michelin-grade and the service crew is excellent! And the interior design exceeds my expectations so much!
I really like August self-brand toiletries but currently the products are only available on physical stores. Please consider an online offering.
The hotel is very nice and well-kept, and the bar is amazing!
The staff were generally pleasant, though it felt like they could have been a bit more attentive and proactive. Also the facilities are rather basic, and the spa feels overpriced for the experience.
Amazing breakfast, interior and food spots clear to the hotel
The style is very nice, beautiful architecture. The room was spacious and luxurious. Beds big and comfi
There is a big TV (ugly), which we didn't need, but no Bluetooth music speaker, which we missed!
Beautiful decor, comfortable beds and gorgeous location - very peaceful stay
Perfectly appointed and aesthetically beautiful property. The modern design was executed perfectly with comfort and function in mind. Location was away from more popular downtown area but very easy to access by #4 tram.
Great design, very comfortable beds and very attentive staff
Relatively out of the way in a quieter area
excellent space, very peacefully and elegantly decorated. great bathroom, beautiful bed linens. Very special buildings with gardens and greenery from every window. Secluded, sophisticated.
small details like charging for an extra small bowl of fruit at breakfast. A hotel of this category should think twice abut adding a charge of just 3 euros!
Lovely building, beautifully renovated and maintained. Great service, really good location.
Breakfast was great. It would be great to get a better understanding of the facilities and hotel ie garden spaces, pools and bikes available only discovered bikes an option the night before leaving also a bit more info about the area and surrounding streets ie general shopping that there is a supermarket 100m down the road if you need anything had to discover these my self and only at the end of the stay
the quality of hairdryer in the room not up to standard of hotel decaf coffee options in the room
Stunning property in what was once a monastery housing nuns in a military hospital complex. The redevelopment and design is very well done to create a modern, contemporary space without losing any of the emotional and evocative connect with its past. The neighbourhood is also very interesting and well worth exploring.
It was beautiful without being loud. Loved the history - an old military hospital and chapel turned into a a stunning place of charm and peace
The staff was very nice, the food was great, the location was very central.
For such an expensive hotel, I was very surprised that the the sink was getting clogged and the water wasn't running.
Everything was perefct the decor being all serax and the toiletries being le labo you know the standards are high and on trend , food is and amazing and there is nothing to much to ask everyone is so attentive. You have to book out the spa privately it’s beautiful. And have cocktails every night at the bar very nice bar staff.Definitely be staying again as we fell in love with Antwerp
Located in a quiet area, this is a stylish property with minimalist but cosy decor. It is clean, new, bright and airy. The restaurant is equally stylish with excellent food and wine and very knowledgeable staff. All staff members from those at reception through to the cleaning and catering staff were polite, warm and friendly. We had a wonderful stay.
