    Pros +

    • Convenient, clean with excellent staff (went above and beyond for all questions/requests)
    • Excellent location in the old town.Easy access by foot and tram to all major sights in Antwerp.10 min walk to River Scheldt.Ideal for a short break
    • Loved this hotel, which was recommended to me by a friend. Beautiful interiors, spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The beds were so comfy, we slept very well. The bathroom was immaculate. Chocolates left on our pillow were a nice touch. The breakfast was a real highlight of our stay, everything was freshly prepared and of the highest quality. My daughter loved the waffle machine allowing you to make your own waffles! The location was perfect for us, not noisy but close to the Grotemarkt. We didn't hear any building works as we stayed over the weekend.

    Cons -

    • Room did not have an iron/ironing board.
    • Lighting in the bedroom was lacking in some areas of the room.
    • Nothing!

Everything was perfect, location, staff, breakfast, the room...

Perfect location. Very friendly staff that were helpful and flexible. Great breakfast buffet with fresh self-made waffles. Room was spacious, very clean, had tea and coffee making facilities, a safe and a large TV. We used the car park which is only a short walk from the hotel and has EV charging (and is much cheaper than the local public carparks). There were building activities but we hardly heard any noise and in general, the hotel is very well sound proofed.

The elevator is slow (but then, you justness to relax ☺️)

Very comfortable hotel, great staff and fantastic location.

A bit pricey, particularly given the garden is currently a big hole and our room was a garden view suite but I do appreciate that during the Christmas period prices are high.

    Location.

It's a soulless hotel and grossly overpriced. It doesn't have a decent bar or restaurant, and there's nothing to do in the hotel. We really regret not choosing a different hotel (Hilton Groenplaats). It would have been cheaper and much better value for money. We had an extra bed for our son, but it was a really bad bed. You'd expect an extra bed to be of good quality.

I like that the bathroom is big !High ceiling and great location..

The hall way at the first floor has a smell. I can't explain what it was- but definetely something to take action.

Perfect! Nice service. Smiles and kindness. Room was really clean and comfortable. See you again

    10HelenPosted on: 12-10-2025

good size room and very quiet, room where nice and Warm. The hotel is in the part of Antwerp where most of Christmas markets where and the nice cobbled streets, loads of places to eat and drink. And lovely tea rooms. and close for castle , cathedral etc. would come again.

The location is the best in town, right at the heart of the historic centre. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are very helpful and friendly. They got me really delicious gluten free bread every morning. The deluxe room was very comfortable and spacious with a very comfortable big bed. Really appreciated little touches like Rituals toiletries and slippers and bath robe.

Situation Fresh orange juiceGood coffeeComfortable bed

Unfortunately the renovations meant we looked out onto rubble. Would have been nice to know this beforehand- especially as I booked a room described as having a garden view!Hot food at breakfast miserable. Rubbery lukewarm scrambled eggs and bacon. There were ‘’boiled” eggs in a container of water which were inedible.
