Only one robe in the room for two people

The room we had was too dark and not comfortable it needed softening with a carpet. The en-suite was too small and the shower leaked on the floor. There was no wardrobe just open rails too close to the bed. The barhroom hooks clashed with the shower door. Room design is important and this room although retained character just didn’t make the mark

Bed a bit soft

The room was spacious. Beautiful view. Nice bathroom. Great breakfast.

The layout of the breakfast wasn't well organised. It wasn't always easy to find certain elements.

We liked the hotel's location. Everything was very walkable. It was possible to park and access the hotel from the lot, which was also very handy. The bartender was lovely and very entertaining. The room was large and had ample space for two humans and a dog.

We felt like the room lacked a little bit of soul. Although we did enjoy the amount of space we had. The storage and shelving were great.

Perfect location — everything is within easy walking distance from the hotel, including all the main highlights. The breakfast was excellent , with buffet and a la carte options and served in a beautiful setting, which made the mornings extra special. The rooms are spacious and the building itself is a stunning classical property. A wonderful stay!

A few small details could be improved: there was sometimes a smell coming from the basement connection to the car park that reached the hallways, and on one day our room wasn’t restocked with toilet paper. We also extended our stay, but the automatic TV welcome setting wasn’t updated, so the TV suddenly switched on early in the morning.Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay — with just a bit more attention to these details, it would be perfect.

It’s not a 5* hotel. It really feels like they trying too hard. Room is nice but awfully cold, there is no way to control temperature in the room. Rooms are also not soundproof, could hear absolutely everything from room next door or above, not even mentioning the corridor.. when drunk kids returned at night the shouting and yelling must’ve woken up the whole hotel. Restaurant is overpriced and not worth the money. Only 1 bathrobe in the room. Front door staff stiff and unwelcoming.

A spectacular historic building, beautifully maintained, a delightful short walk to the center of the city!

Quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable, with good facilities and good spaces. Good size room, comfortable bed, great bathroom (even with a heated mirror - so important for those of us who wet shave!).

The bar and restaurant felt a bit soul-less and over formal. Restaurant was expensive.

The bed was absolutely horrible. There were holes and creaks in the bed and we had to sleep on a fold up towel cause the pillows were wayyy too big. Really ruined the stay. We left a night early but didn’t get refunded

The selection of wines could have been far greater If you are going to serve cocktails then please maintain a suitable standard & ensure staff receive correct training, they were far from acceptable. Staff should clean tables as soon as guests have vacated them & not leave them for hours!!!

Breakfast great although staff unfriendly.

Reception staff not as attentive as they could be, carrying on conversations whilst I waited to ask questions.

It’s located in the city center, but quiet part of it.

We’ve been Marriott Bonvoy’s members for years now, and always trying to stay either in this hotel chain or in Hyatt’s.This stay was a total disaster.First and main - it was incredibly cold in the hotel rooms. That cold!! That we literally couldn’t take off our coats, therefore we had to move THREE times during our short 2-days stay. Honestly, it was incredibly stressful and wasting of precious time - unpacking and packing again three times in a row. Every time we were told by the staff that THIS room is for sure pre-warmed oooor will be warmed in the next hour. And it just didn’t happen every time.Also I have to add that we were devastated by huge layers of dust in every of these 3 rooms. We had to literally clean the shelves by ourselves.

Great breakfast and fine location. Not great, fine.

Airco infinitely noisy, (empty) minifridge unbearably noisy, people in the corridor were hearable like they were inside the bed at 2 am. Several 4 stars hotels have better rooms, but for the price this was awful. It also did not match at all the pictures on booking.com.

The building is beautiful, a real architectural gem. We were there to celebrate my son's 30th birthday and the hotel went the extra step to wish him a happy birthday. They laid a banner on his bed and had a delicious little cake that was beautifully presented under glass. It was such a lovely gesture was a great start to our celebration weekend!

Weird room setup. Way too expensive for what you get. Two diamonds in the room that you can exchange at the bar for what you think is two glasses of champagne…. Nope its just a trick to get you to the bar to get two raisin small pices of chocolate. So you feel like a fool and then have to order two glasses of champagne for €30.
