Hotel Négy Évszak

Nice hotel for a short stay. A comfortable bed, you will definitely get a good night's sleep. Pleasant staff. The breakfast was satisfactory but not the best (perhaps it is a specific cuisine)

The staff were ok and super nice.

The room wasn't so clean as we expected. The rug was dirty. We picked this hotel because it has a restaurant, but it is open only until 20:00 and at 19:30 they didn't server anything from the kitchen. Also the breakfast, wasn't so amazing, as they described - some eggs and some bacon.

The hotel room was pretty big, very close to the aqua park.

At first they couldn't find our booking in their system. The parking needed to be paid extra. Half board was included but for dinner there were no drinks available, not even water, we had to pay extra for the bevarage. The shower was leaking in several parts, there was always water on the floor. The rooms are not soundproof at all.

The staff was excellent, they tried very hard, they were willing.

They told us we will have parking at the hotel, but they didn’t have anything free+ you have to pay for it, but not only parking which is only 1€ cheaper than any other parking; the bomb was that the air conditioning was not working because you also had to pay extra for it which was nowhere written.The hotel is in extremely poor shape, everything is old and the door was probably broken and not fixed properly, I felt unsafe during the night.

Location

Some rooms smell of sewage. But you can ask to change the room and the staff will kindly do it, if possible. Although, I understood that all the rooms sometimes smell of sewage. It's just that some stink more and all the time, while others stink less and rarely. I also did not like that the staff was often absent from their places, both the administrator and the waiter.

Toilet did not work all through our stay. Curtains have fallen down. No cleaning in our room for 2 days (throughout our stay).

It is close to the baths.

The rooms are very old and not clean at all! We couldn’t sleep because a group of young people were yelling under our window but the hotel did nothing resolve the situation In the morning we were woken up by the sounds of the drill. Someone was repairing the room above us??‍♀️The coffee, breakfast and dinner was very low quality

Excellent meals and wonderfully typical Hungarian cuisine, we've especially appreciated the "home made" special food at the breakfast. Very helpful and kind staff, spacious room, balcony, I would definitely recommend if in the area.

Proximity to spa. And nice looking building.

Disgustingly bad smell from the air conditioning and carpet. 2 days, the air conditioning did not work good. And the bad smell was there all the time. I would add some pictures from the room or bathroom but it is too disgusting...

tooooo expensive for such a tiny room with bad smelling sheets, dirty (with long termed dust) trash can…we then traveled to Slovenia and stayed in a hotel twice cheaper but all great, huge rooms and modern furniture, so maybe you overestimating your hotelanother thing - non-English speaking personal, how can that be possible…

Location is good and breakfast available.

We were offered another room as "superior" (the one we booked) was not available. It was a small room with one bed for 3 persons (we have a child, so it was not the biggest problem but inconvenient, esp. taking into account that before it should be 2 rooms apartment). The bathroom is old and looks a bit dirty.The most ridiculous that for this room we pay only 3 euro less... Besides despite the fact that according to the booking "all taxes included" we have paid significant "city tax" or sth like it.

Very good location, close to Hungarospa, close to mini-markets, exchange office etc. Food was tasty. Our room was clean.

However I paid for a room with balcony I got one without. When asked why the answer was that when I booked they ran out (but never thought they should notify me about this) and anyway the description of the room and facilities included is just a standard text. This was not my first booking so I know what I booked and what is stated there so far was what I got at arrival. I checked the prices, rooms with balcony are more expensive then the ones without. They didn't even appologies or offer anything in return (eg. free late check-ot, a free coffe in the morning etc). As it is located in the center at night it was quite noisy
