Mátyás Király Gyógy- és Wellness Hotel

Easy check-in & check out. Food is good if you like Hungarian cuisine. Really nice helpful staff. Good thermal water pools. Overall we had a very relaxing holiday.

Too bad some guests don't know how to behave and let their very small children roam and access pools for people 14 years and above.

It*s one of my favorite vacation spot.I like:the location.the facilities and the kidness of the hosts.

The spa is a little bit small...

The spa was really gifted and we liked it. The room was clean. The personel was really kind.

The last time we stayed at this hotel was 3-4 years ago.The food then was good tasting and pretty much in quantity, not to mention the diversity of it. Now it is not the same, it s more like the opposite.

Old fashion hotel, remember old ages! I felt like in PRL. Old swimming pools. Hotel definitely should be renovated! You can find better hotel in the same price range. I had problem to use English with reception - they English knowledge was weak. Never ever!

Location, Cleanliness, Food

Loved pretty much everything. Loved the wellness facilities, the reception and welness staff, the location, the fact that even though the season just started the services were ok.

The swedish buffet restaurant had ups and downs, might be me being more an à la carte guy.

We had breakfast and dinner paid for and they were buffet. Excellent variety and quality of food.The hotel also offered a free soup for lunch and they had a la carte ordering in case you wanted something different.The room was large and the feeling was great.The spa is excellent and the kids had their own pool with plenty of toys to keep them occupied.Almost everyone spoke good English and we had no problems with any of the stuff. They were very kind to our children and we felt great.The room had a great view, there are some beautiful buildings, we also saw a hot air balloon directly from the balcony.They had a very large room for children filled with toys. Also a huge courtyard witch benches, decorations and a children's playground.

One of the small beds had a very thin mattress.No problem for the kids, but for me it would have been an issue to sleep in it.

Friendly atmosphere, so relaxing ambiente, nice people and nice prices.

I had a great time with my mother I liked everything.

☆The only downside the staff couldn't manage to provide sleepers; even for extra cost; which I personally think are esential part for the thermal baths ? ☆ The toilet in the room was leaking..

the meals were very poor, cleaning needed and the beds are very uncomfortable.

Loved the swimming pool and the thermal pools, not too crowded. Also the room size was perfect for a couple, and they managed to give us adjacent rooms

The hotel is a bit old-fashioned, it would need some modernization. But it was not a real negative point, it added to the character of the place. I was not able to.turn on the mini-fridge in our room, not sure I should have done it differently

Great experience. Staff was really helpfull. Hotel is clean, everything is as it should be.

I know people are more used to speak German and Hungarian, but it would be nice if stuff would speak better english.
