Hotel Alpenrose

Large, comfortable double-bed.Room had radiators and an aircon-heating unit, so getting the right temperature was never a problem. Quiet location close to the centre of town.However, there was little hot water in the early-morning, so showers then were often lukewarm at best.The internet was generally fine, but twice there were extended periods of "Connected without internet "

We came late night, nobody send us instructions how we can chek-in, we call host and his first sentence was like we need to pay some additional payment like city tax or whatever. On the booking there was not written any tax, it was like "some tax may apply". So late night on the cold host was ask me first to pay and after he will give keys. Of course I didnt pay and anyway chek-in. Internet - of its different story, there was no internet lets. Furniture was very old and not clean... Lets say it was a hostel not hotel! Will never come back!

Brief overnight stay to visit the town baths, in mid January. Self check in (not mentioned at time of booking, but worked ok), and breakfast was available in a great bakery a very short walk away (again, not mentioned at time of booking, but a very good outcome). Fresh air before breakfast is good for you! Good sized, immaculately clean room, comfy beds and excellent heating. All up, good value for money.

The location of the hotel was really close to the therme. It was a 5 minute drive.

There is not a lot of parking space.

Cute little hotel in the quiet residential streets, really close to the main hub of the town (which was a lot busier than we thought it would be!). Refurbished rooms are really lovely, comfy bed & huge walk in shower. Breakfast is offered by a local cafe - well worth the 5 min walk, lovely platter of meats, cheese & breads!

Room was ok. Toilet/shower very clean.

We never got code /room number from staff. Booking customeservice helped us and finally we got our room. We did not get the room we payed and owner was very rude, even tho it was they mistake. In the morning we tried to buy cups of coffee, but it was not possible. Unfortunately I can not recommed this place.

Clean and cool! The staff was super kind and available. My wife is Japanese and was particularly pleased because one member of the staff was a fluent Japanese speaker! Highly recommended

The hotel was advertised as full service spa hotel on their web site, but seemed to be transitioning to something else. no spa services were available. Only the sauna would be turned on, if desired. The amenities listed were not all provided. The hotel was old and in need of proper care. There were no outside lights on at night, only security motion light when we reached the porch.

The location was great, perfect walking distance to downtown shopping and cafés. Staff was friendly. The room was dated but clean. The beds were very comfy.

The shower was awful, no water pressure, came out barely as a mist and lukewarm water at best.

Very nice owner, ready to help. The bed is very comfortable.
