- The location is greatThe room is spacious
- I like the person who made check out he was nice
- Clean, comfortable, good location.
Cons -
- There were dust on the floor It’s expensive
- The hotel is very expensive for the services it offers. The room is not what I expected. I booked for 2 adults and a 2 year old. The room had only 2 small beds and I didn't find a baby bed although during booking it was mentioned that it was available but the manager told me that I had to pay an extra 15€ if I wanted another bed. The beds were not in good condition and were not comfortable for the price paid. There was a young lady at the reception who did everything she could to help but the old lady who seemed to be in charge kept forcing her and telling us that we had to pay more if we wanted a room like the one on the booking site.
- Nothing wrong - it's just a basic budget hotel.

The hotel is excellently situated in the centre of town but still only a short 10 minute walk from the Ferry Port. The rooms were clean if a little dated and I had a nice view of the medieval walls of the Fuerte de San Miguel which is behind the hotel. Reception is 24 hours and access to room is via keycard. The Reception staff were very polite and helpful and allowed me to leave my luggage on my day of departure. The room had everything I needed, including excellent A/C, TV and a mini-fridge with complimentary water provided. The room was also a decent size for a solo traveller. I didn't have breakfast there so can't advise what it was like or even if there was one. All in all, a very decent budget hotel.
Nothing really. The decor could probably do with a bit of a spruce up and there was a couple of minor spots in the room that the cleaners seemed to miss but I'm nit-picking really.
Functional with friendly staff, no complaints. Location is fabulous. If you want luxury this isn't the place, but if you want a solid place to rest your head, this is perfectly adequate.
A little loud in the room when other guests talk in the corridor late at night, but nothing major.
Perfect location.Comfortable room.
Bad quality of water.Flush toilet is too close to the sink.
Restaurant was great value and excellent food, friendly restaurant manager and staff. Reception and housekeeping staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was great with a lovely view. Would recommend and visit again.
The location was excellent to walk to the Citadel, the Marina, Plaza de Espana and to the urban modernist centre. There was a restaurant upstairs but eating out in the city would be much better. The WiFi worked well.
I cannot use a shower in a deep bathtub - would have preferred a walk in shower.
Good location, clean.
Very out dated. Bath was dirty.
Clean and comfortable place in the heart of the city
Basic accommodation which was perfect for a one night stay. Location was perfect.Breakfast was very good.
This was my fifth visit to Melilla and I always stay at Hotel Anfora That says it all ! It has the best view of the Old Town! The staff are all very friendly and welcoming ?
I was happy with everything
Clean good location
No internet in the room
THE ROOM HEATING WAS EXCELLENT - THE LOCATION IS EXCELLENT - THE PRICE WAS EXCELLENT
BASIC ROOMS - BUT IT WAS OKAY FOR 1 NIGHT
location is great. wifi and aircon in reception was good.
The bed was very uncomfortable and sheets had stains on them. Felt very unpleasant. WIFI in the room didn't work - had to go to reception for this. The aircon in the room was very bad and it was not possible to leave it on while being out of the room. So the room would not get colder.
Excellent location close to the port and the old town. Everything you needed was really close. It was very clean and great value for money.
Nothing really. Like others have said it would have been good to have some chairs on the balcony.
Hotel was clean and equipped! Front desk was very helpful and kind
Cleaning crew was not very accommodating
The reception staff were very good, friendly and helpful making me feel valued. The hotel location was incredibly convenient for exploring Melilla's attractions.
Fairly basic rooms, but the location is great, particularly if you are using the ferry. The restaurant is similarly basic, but good value.
Well located
Uncomfortable bed, limited facilities, noisy in corridors
