Hotel Melilla Puerto

The location is excellent, short walking distance to the city, to the old city, and to the beach.Breakfast is decent with a good choice of foods.

Not very sound proof. Can hear the TV on the neighboring room, and noise if there is one.

Centrally located in Melilla.

Walls were a little thin. Noise comes through.

Best hotel in Melilla.excellent buffet breakfast at a reasonable price. Manager very helpful ln resolving a problem with our reservation. Was upgrade room. Will definitely stay again.

There is no elevator. Martin was very helpful carrying two heavy suitcases to3 floors.

The view was terrible. There was no comfy lounge to sit in. The hours of the opening of the bar was too small.

Location is perfect and very clean place.

Didn’t have the (do not disturb sign) so the cleaning lady opened the door on me while I was still sleeping.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel is close to the port so it is convenient to transfer to the ferry station.

When booking the room I asked for a quiet room. We got probably the loudest room in the hotel. We were next to the lift, which was very slow. Everyone waiting for the lift would stand outside our absolutely non-sound-proof door and chat to each other. What is worse, the hotel had a party or event on the ground floor which lasted from afternoon till midnight (which is not too late according to Spanish standard). It was a nightmare. We asked for an extra towel. We didn't receive it in the end.

The location is handy for the centre and old town but ..........

....... It's a rather dull building in a dull, incoherent area.

Once we had found the hotel (the wrong location is shown in Google Maps and another mapping app I use), all was well. The welcome was warm, the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast options were good. Shops and restaurant options are within walking distance.

Room service for food was missing bread with cheese. Also, I didn’t know where to put the food plates later: outside or in the room. I kept them in the room. Communicate protocol better.Offering a guided tour of the city would help.

Good location and good size rooms

Melilla has a horrible drinking water. And the hotel did not provide water free of charge . In fact, if you order water to your room, they charge 3.5 eur just to deliver it . Never seen anything like that

The hotel had a great location, the staff spoke english.

I did not like the breakfast, the sound insulation of the rooms, and the quality of the running water.

The 3 nights were awful. Windows are not soundproof and very close there was a feria making huge noise until 4 am !When i complained hoping to change the room for a room on the other side of hotel, receptionist seemed not to care

Great location. Easy parking right in the hotel. Close to everything. Remodelled clean room. Everything worked.Reception staff very helpful. Beds were super comfy. Did not try the restaurants.

Location good , breakfast food and room spacious

The air conditioning in the room was ineffective. When we checked in it was 27 degrees. It made little impact even on full. The following morning it was 25 degrees despite being on all night .
