Hotel Cala di l'Oru

Very good breakfast preparation, lot of own products made locally, very friendly owners who provide advice where to go, or recommend restaurants. My room was clean and nice, the swimming pool was clean. I liked to stay at this hotel, which was situated in nice green area, roughly 10 minutes walk to the center.

There is nothing to critisize.

Nice hotel for our short stay in Ile Rousse. Walking distance to the town centre (you have to walk uphill on the way back, but it is not too onerous). The room was small and minimalist in decoration, but clean and did the job (and had AC). The gentlemen at the front desk was very friendly. The pool was lovely. Would recommend.

Communication with the hotel was excellent. Our ferry was delayed so we arrived late. We advised the hotel who immediately sent alternative instructions for entering the hotel, which went very smoothly.

The hotel is very clean and beautiful. The staff are very nice and friendly. The breakfast was great. They made eggs for us any way we wanted. Great coffee as well. The walk downtown was good, not too long.

The rooms are a small. The bed was a little hard for me. We could have used a light over the bathroom mirror. I got used to the size of the room but the only downside was having to pull you suitcase out and then put it back again.

Hotel Cala Di l’Oru is in a great location, a short walk from L’Ile Rousse town centre. The room was spotless, and came with a bath, and shower over the bath. The room was no-frills, but the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

There were steps into the hotel and our room was on the third floor with no lift - so not a good choice for those who need an accessible hotel.

Great stay, albeit just for 1 night while waiting for apartment nearby to be ready Excellent facilities: swimming pool, relaxing garden, good air conditioning in room and very well-appointed bathroom. Very friendly staff, let us leave our bags for the whole day after check-out while we went to the beach.

The location and garden with a pool was stunning. The walk into town was very enjoyable and all facilities were reached easily. Our room had an amazing terrace with beautiful views and outdoor seating. The room and shower room were very pleasant. The breakfast outside was delicious and the lady who served us was kind and helpful.

The property was well situated between a quiet residential/hotel area and the town. The room was airy and bright. The breakfast was extra but worth it.

Absolutely loved my stay at the hotel Cala di l'Oru. Everyone has been so helpful and friendly and the delicious homemade breakfast will make you happy for the rest of the day. Thank you so much.

Breakfast felt rushed, we were not late but had to ask for juice and glasses. Only two choices for fruit had hoped for more, and limited protein, no eggs

Close to the town with easy, private parking. Easy check-in/check-out. Nice and helpful staff. A very good breakfast. Room was clean and air conditioning worked well. Pool area was nice, even though smaller than what it looked like in the pictures.

Bed was quite worn out, it felt like sleeping in a hole in the middle. Wifi did not really work at all in the room and the network was unsecured. There was some heavy rain in the night and the water was leaking a bit through the window.

Peaceful hotel, beautiful garden and pool area. You can use the facilities for eating you own lunch. Rooms clean and bathrooms seem brand new. Great pool and ambiance. Walk to the city center is 6-8 minutes ans quite enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel !

The room was of descent size, but the furniture are very outdated. the linen cupboard was creaky and impractical. The breakfast was descent. The pool was ok.
