Pros +
- Nice location, great parking, very friendly personnel, good breakfast.
- We were upgraded at our arrival and had a wonderful suite in one of the towers in the old part (the castle part) of the hotel. It is nicely furnished with an elegant touch and the staff was always very helpful. Though situated near the town square, the hotel is quiet, while a good number of restaurant and bars are at a short walking distance.
- This hotel is exceptional. It far exceeded our expectations. A beautiful ornate building, modernly decorated rooms and an outside pool with beautiful gardens. Right in the centre of Ile Rousse. The hotel offers daily activities and guided tours which we didn't go on but looked v interesting.
Cons -
- It smelled cigarettes in the bathroom all the time because of the ventilation (probably from the smoking room). Mold in the shower. Very poor noise isolation. Very hard to find the right entrance at night.
- Since there was no à la carte restaurant available, we preferred to dine in other places. The buffet in the morning could have offered a wider choice, espresso is not included, and sometimes the staff was making quiet a lot of noise, when arranging the plates and cutlery.

excellent location, lovely room, nice breakfast and ample parking
make sure you get a room in the main hotel block rather than the annex behind. entrance can be difficult to spot.
The Hotel Napoleon has beautiful, large rooms, is situated right in the centre of Ile Rousse, about 50 metres from the beach, has plenty of parking, a scarce commodity in the centre of many Corsican towns, the breakfasts have masses of variety to suit all tastes and a large swimming pool. This is undoubtedly my favourite hotel during my Corsican holiday, so much so that I returned there for another couple of days at the end of my time. The young staff were well trained, friendly and helpful.
It can be tricky to find the entrance because it's right in the centre of much of the social activity in Ile Rousse.
Room and breakfast were great. Lots to see and do. Walk to the lighthouse was fantastic
Unfortunately all the roads around the hotel were closed for a sports event when we arrived and it was very difficult to reach the front desk for directions to the back/delivery entrance
Excellent location and staff very friendly and heloful
Although our room was huge, it was very dark and generally not very nice. OK, for one night only.
This was amazing accommodation . One of the highlights of our trip . We were spoilt with the Suite with Terrace & Seaview . It was amazing .. with the huge terrace sweeping from the front with a beautiful view of the beach to continue a long way around to the side . It was beautifully presented in classy ole world style . Staff were very helpful . Opposite beach . Luxury foyer . My friend who lives locally recommended this . Fabulous recommendation .
Liked everything
It was close to the beach, and the architecture. Fast check-in/check out. Clean room.
It’s not how on the picture. The main road was closed to get in the parking. The room where we stayed was very close to an other room and you could hear all the noise what the neighbours did. No water pressure in the shower. Bathroom needs a refurbish.
Location. Nice buildings.
No fridge in the room. You had to stand in line to get your buffet dinner. Small portions and slim options.
The location was excellent in the centre of a lovely town with excellent restaurants and a stunning beach no more than 5 mins away,
Tired, little or no amenities, it was over 30 degrees during our stay and there wasn’t even a bottle of water in our room let alone a fridge. The bathroom had a shower attachment in the bath but nothing to hang it from over head so you had to sit in the bath to shower. They wanted to charge €2 each for a pool towel which seems unreasonable for a hotel that charges over €600 for 3 nights.Finding a bed by the pool was also impossible.
The overall impression is good and I cannot say that the hotel is anyhow really bad.
Point is that my NPS would be around 6 or 7.Why :Mainly because I felt really like I didn't belong to the place.I don't care if they are foreigners at the hotel, I really don't. But I care that the whole personnel in contact with me speaks the country's language, for me and my kids.Otherwise what is the point of bringing people from all around the world for your staff if it's not to learn French? Moreover their carbon footprint is ridiculous rather than having locals.Although, I'd appreciate that the habits of the hotel are more in line with the Mediterranean way of life : - a pool closing at sunset - more tapas or "apéro" at the pool- a cleaning personnel schedule not so early startingThe room comfort was ok but the AC was so noisy.Basically I understand that you're more a club for Scandinavian people, fair enough. Though, when you open the bookings to other customers, you must deliver them something different as they are, indeed, different.
Clean room, nice territory
Not properly working ac in the room, terrified corridors, dirty walls and carpets. Ugly elevator
Location and public areas were excellent. Easy parking. The rooms we were given finally were very good but we had to request a move from the original room allocated which was very poor.
There were not enough sun loungers by the pool and guests got up early to ‘save’ loungers with towels which was frustrating. Although we had booked a superior room we were initially given a room in the rear block overlooking the road which was dark and unwelcoming. We moved to a room in the main block after 2 days which was much better. There were often periods when it was difficult to find any staff as the reception was not always maned.
I stayed in two different rooms, both were very nice . The decor and the space is great. Stuff were always frenulum and helpful. I will come back
I liked everything, and I think price was very reasonable
Nice hotel, good stuff and service! Located in the city centre a lot of cafe restaurants shops, public beach, good parking. Nice breakfast, a lot at games and good lobby bar. Gladly will come again
Not comfortable come through back gate
The owner was very kind, the Apt was not cleaned since the booking reservation came late, but she let us in anyway. it was clean anyway, only garbage and no new towells. Obviously ?. But fantastic.
The location was prime, rooms very spacious, dog friendly.
Pool could be open longer
It’s in the centre if Ile rousse, a gorgeous little town. And it is very close to the beach
everything from service quality with highly trained staff, room was in the renovated part with amazing bedding quality and breakfast super rich and tasty, well done! and thank you Marie from Brazil for your very kind hospitality, your attitude is the one we wish to find in every hotel we stay at!
