Lévay Villa Hotel

In our second stay in the main building, we had a great large room with a large bathroom, tub included, #23. In our earlier first stay, we were in the annex across the street. Room was still good, but nothing like #23. Breakfast had a good selection of foods, hot and cold. Rossita is an excellent restaurant in town, beats the two Michelin-rated restaurants as one was down for renovations (8/25) and the other was not findable.

The first time we were in the annex, across the street, so we had to cross the street for breakfast. As long as it wasn't raining, there was no problem. The second time we were in the main building.

Cozy accommodation. Old but modern style.

Thin walls allowed the noise from the neighboring room to be heard.

Very nice service, spacious rooms, clean. Excellent location and internal parking. Breakfasts very good. I highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with a great breakfast and clean rooms (we had a room in the new building)

The wellness and gym was very tiny and empty.Breakfast was run out of options if we arrived late, did not get refilled.

The room itself was ok, decent size and clean, with adequate amenities.What was not ok, and why this place does not deserve higher rating is an unexpected payment taken by the hotel for the breakfast. The description on booking.com states that it costs 8 EUR, but they charged almost twice as high amount from the card (6305 HUF, 16 EUR, plus tourist tax). Payment was done by contactless card, and during check-in process the receptionist didn't show me the final amount on the payment terminal. I only discovered the mistake next morning by checking bank statement, and pointed out to this to another receptionist during check-out. She argued at first, and finally admitted overcharging, but told me that "refund is not possible". I travel a lot in Europe, and this is the first time I ever encounter anything like this from a service provider who offers accomodation on booking.com.

I did not receive room with patio as was mentionned on détails of the room , and had to call booking to get a room in the new building ( correspondent with pictures from booking ) .

Cute house with an antique look inside and outside. Many historical objects around the reception. Even thought the furniture seems a little outdated, everything was clean. The breakfast was very good and staff kind. Recommend!

Spacious room. Stylish villa. Close to a park. Silent area..helpful and smiling personnel.

Lifts to tyle second floor, not so funny if you live at the third ;)

The shower was not separated from the rest of the bathroom so water would cover a large portion of the floor

Although the building is a period villa, the room facilities are absolutely modern. It is located in a quiet area, a short distance from the city center.

Bad staff member on arrival not friendly not prepared to help

The room was large with a comfortable bed.The advantage is that there are plenty of parking spaces in the hotel parking lot.The breakfast was good and the coffee was very good.

The ventilation in the bathroom does not work, but luckily you can ventilate through the window.

Bad quality Satelite Tv, only a few programs, internet was not working.

I loved the ambiance and the neighborhood. A couple of the clerks were super helpful.

The only thing I didn't like was that the pictures on the Internet made it look like there was a key hole shaped Jacuzzi. But it's really just a very small cold pool for cooling down after a sauna. I came all the way from the USA to see my daughter and family and to take in the waters . I have some serious health issues so I truly was looking forward to soaking in the water. I was really disappointed and the person checking me just keep saying unfortunately there is no refund. Multiple times. When I explained about the picture he said I should have read the fine print. Which is true.

Everything was perfect! The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend that place :)

A quiet, very well equipped and maintained venue. Exceptionally good prepared breakfast, with a wide variety of foods. Helpful and polite staff, particularily that elder gentleman, serving the breakfast room.

There was some noisy equipment in the basement of the new building, that started working with so much noise at early dawn. There's almost no possibility to have a decent diner nearby as the Belgian Pub closed recently.
