NO!
Location is amazing, great place for walking/biking/travel by car. Great room, great wine and restaurantHighly recommended. Will stay again no questions.
Beautiful property, excellent service, excellent dining and spa! Loved the staff, especially BangBang, Thomaso, but all were excellent!

Best hotel in Chianti Region! Romantic, beautiful landscape, amazing rooms! Great indoor pool!
Varied breakfast. Fresh breads and cakes were delicious. Attentive staff.
Service was extrodinary!
We were charged $80 Euro for E-bikes that we never had. We booked 1 day on a Vespa and paid the Vespa operator directly. We were charged incorrectly.
Stunning property in the midst of vineyards and orchards. The staff especially in the main restaurant, the french sommelier (Lucy) and the pool area were outstanding. The check in check out people were good too but could be a bit friendlier. We spent just 1 night on the way from Florence to Bellagio and wish we would have stayed longer. We were in the base room which waslovely but windows are small so there isn't a "view". Decor was beautoful and clean but if you're staying for more than a night then get a higher room category. Its just a stunning place with excellent service. Go ahead and book!
Amazing place with stunning views! Great food and very nice staff.
Beautiful 5* star property. Great service. Big and comfortable rooms.
Really nothing bad to say. Maybe breakfast can be improved a little.
The breakfast was great. The restaurants on the property were also fantastic. We did an excursion at the winery onsite that was FANTASTIC. And of course with everything, first class views and service.
Only minor complaint we had was the Air Conditioning in the room wasn't great, so we slept with the window open to keep the room cool.
The location and views are stunning
Can’t name a thing… if you’re after an authentic Tuscan countryside retreat, away from the hustle of a large town; this is perfect!
The property itself was fine. Very fine. Rooms, staff, everything was top notch in the hotel part of the business. The problem is with restaurant.
I thought the times of Michelin restaurants with miniscule portions of guess-what-it-is is over, but no. Property's restaurant La Colonna happens to be one of them. We are in Italy. In Toscana! Just take wonderful local ingredients, cook them, serve them - you can't go wrong. For example - red shirmps Gamberi - you will find them in most good restaurants. They are excellent raw, like butter. Very tasty. In most restaurants for apetizer - they will bring you 2 or 4 shrimps, for the price of 10 to 15 Euro. But in La Colonna - oh, it's unfortunately a Michelin. They take half (1/2) of little Gambery shrimp. Finely chop it. Mix with who knows what, then artistically spread that one spoon of mystery mix around the plate. Charge you 40 Euro. You can not taste it in the final "dish", you can not share it with your wife. Because it's just 1 spoon of something. Same with all other dishes. Two spoons of risotto. slice of fish with puddle of some green liquid on a side. No sides at all, and no choice for extra sides. All 4 people at our table were shocked how small and unfulfilling portions were, and how senselessly good ingredients were wasted into this art presentation that Michelin inspectors seem to like. IF YOU WANT REAL FOOD - skip the La Colonna and drive into any nearest village for good Italian cusine!
We visited in August. In spite of this the place did not feel crowded and was incredibly quiet due to location, to the staff efforts and to the very good manners of most guests. The rooms were very clean and the premises exceptionally well kept. The staff were helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The facilities beautiful and easy to access. The atmosphere was ideal for relaxing in the stifling heat of August. The nights were peaceful, the only sound being that of crickets.
The structure is throughly renovated, which means it is very clean but also lacks a touch of authenticity. The concept is closer to an international, high-end boutique hotel than to an Italian equivalent and, indeed, it caters mostly to well-off, foreign jet-set members. Finding a balance between friendliness and spotlessness is never easy and an assessment of the result of a personal rather than general nature. The hotel seems to find itself at a cross-roads with real excellence close at hand and minor slip-ups still occurring occasionally. Though the overall impression remains extremely good, there exists margin for additional improvement, especially in terms of leadership by the top management. The approach to service is formal and the staff dress code is elegant. Proper account should however be taken of prevalent weather conditions in the region. In summer black jackets and ties should be replaced by light-coloured, linen garments that can be just as elegant, allow staff to feel more at ease and perform at their best.
Excellent equipment and service
Prices too high in the restaurants
The hotel was amazing! We would like to come back and stay more days. Very friendly staff, food was so tasty. The view is unforgettable.
- view is perfect- architecture is very beautiful- food in the restaurants was good- unexpected car wash during stay- super friendly staff everywhere in the hotel, at the pool bar, in the restaurants...
- beds are a little bit too small for tall people- room service costs extra per delivery on top of the normal prices which discourages you from ordering there- too few sockets in the room
Everything.
The towels service would knock the door (do not disturb was on the door) in the morning , this happened twice.
Staff was very good, it was very peacefull place
There could be more activities such as instrumental events, yoga, walking tours and food tours in the yards ..
