Tourist Resort Ribarsko Ostrvo

I like everything than the parking. I booked this hotel because of the huge parking but I did have a problem as one day there was huge celebration and my car was blocked . I have complained to the reception but the reply was that they had the same issue and i had to move by taxi as my car was blocked nezt couole of hours.

Isolated from crowd, intimate, clean, great bed, amazing stuff and also very nice food On top of everything view at the Danube makes if perfect romantic getaway

There are no any shops so buy everything you need before going back from Novi Sad city center to the island

Rooms are comfortable and clean. I was only missing some tea bags :)

The hotel has a big space but nothing to do really. No benches, no access to the river. The playground is quite small

Great stuff, great location and would return for sure.

Few things were to improve:We have asked if they have something for vegan person to eat for breakfast and they confirmed on email that they have.On our arrival, I was told also that Chef asked about and confirmed they will prepare something. On our suprise they baked vegetables ( zuchini, paprika and one more veggie, cant remember now) which is already on menu and that was next day also. If i was told in advance that is all for brekfast for vegan, we would bring something more ourselves. Also, one of the bathroom got blockage, water did not go through when showering, so it was flooding and we used towel to clean. When mention on same day to reception, they acknowledge it, but no appologies for incovinience.

I became very ill because of the AC. It should be cleaned at least once per year.It took me 3-4 weeks to get better.

Prvo kad smo dobili sobu, soba je imala uzasan smrad na cigare i ustajalost, prasina svuda, kupatilo uzas, plocice isprskane, dlake na sve strane, muz otisao ponovo na recepciju i dali nam kljuceve od druge sobe koja je bila jos gora od prve, i tako smo promijenili jos 4 sobe, sve gore od goreg, i na kraju smo rekli da ne mozemo tu da ostanemo. Gospodjica na recepciji nije uradila nista samo je rekla kako nije njena krivica, umjesto da je zvala nekog od odgovornih da se to rijesi. Restoran i hrana su vrlo dobro, ali smjestaj je nazalost nula, na srecu nije bilo skroz kasno da nadjemo drugi hotel.

The bed was big and super comfy, breakfast delicious, beautiful morning view at the breakfast.

It was cold in my room, the bathroom was a little rusty and the water under the shower was running slowly.

We are spending one night every year on our way from Greece. It's a very relaxing and beautiful place. It has amazing breakfasts and very polite stuff. The "fisherman's island" on Danube river its a extraordinary location in the middle of a busy town.

We are a family of four so the double-bed rooms are not very convenient for us. I dont understand why there are no four-beds rooms.

The breakfast was good, varied and rich. Free parking in front of the house.

The rooms are dirty and full of cobwebs, the towels are old and worn out, full of someones hair.I had two large spiders in the room that were not removed after alleged cleaning. Wifi does not work in the rooms.The noise from the restaurants inside the resort where weddings are held is unbearable and It was impossible to sleep.Final touch was when one evening around 11 p.m. a colleague left his room to go to the car park and saw a man enter his room. When he got to the room, a man was coming out of his room and my college asked him what he was doing in his room. The man rudely replied that he was the guard there and that he was allowed to enter in any room.He was extremely rude and offered no explanation. I've traveled all over the world and I've never had a situation like this.We were in Novi Sad on business trip and the situation in the hotel left us with a bitter taste. Hotel is classified with 4 stars and in my opinion it is worth maybe 2 stars and definitely not for business trip.

Very Nice accomodation, close to Lot of restaurants and also centre of The town. Good selection for breakfast.

Location is great, close to nature, wonderful restaurant nearby, clean bathroom, sterilized glasses

It would be nice to clean the giant web on the ceiling + room looks a bit tired.Mini-bar was not available

Big and clean room !! Amazing location ! Nice breakfast view !! Very friendly receptionist in the morning !! We enjoyed it!!

Passable

Despite the room had a non smoking sign on the door it smelled as if someone has been smoking there for quite long. horrible smell. we checked in very late and I was to tired to ask for a different room. however could not get to sleep as techno party next door was playing till 3 am. next day in the morning(on SUNDAY!) the guy from the hotel has started mowing grass just under my window.

Breakfast was mediocre, the location was a bit far from the city center, yet it had quiet surroundings. It would work for those who want to be settling in a place that provides a more tranquil atmosphere, away from the city center. :)

It was pretty overpriced.

Very clean. If you want fresh towels eveyday. Nice restaurant with very friendly staff. Staff at reception is also very friendly. Extra ordinary breakfeast!

You don’t get along by foot in the surrounding very easy.

The room was fine, no comments on it. We went to one of the restaurants in the complex. It had a terrace on the river bank, so it was very relaxing. The food they served us was delicious and the staff was very attentive.We could walk out dog in the complex, which was very nice.

We stayed at the hotel for one night, on a Saturday. We went to bed around 11pm and we were able to hear music from one restaurant just next to the complex, but also from an open-air disco club, near the hotel. Around midnight the party at the disco club was at full speed and we were absolutely not able to sleep due to the fact that the music was so loud that we thought, our room was in the middle of the dance floor. The torture continued till 3.30am. At 7am we had to be again in the car as we had to drive an additional 500 km to reach our final destination. We felt really miserable and exhausted because we didn't get a proper rest.The hotel needs to warn its customers that there is a loud music in the area during the night. The location is nice but only for people that go partying in the area. For the rest that hoped to have a nice meal and rest, it is absolutely not suitable.

Bad

This is the worst place to stay. It's 2 o'clock in the morning, 10 meters away the music of a nightclub is hammering. My wife and I are furious and perplexed why no one has mentioned anywhere that there is a nightclub nearby. In addition, the hotel administration threw up their hands to solve the problem and refused to solve the problem. There are also cockroaches in the room, one of ours is in the curtains, the other is crushed, the third is in the bathroom under the sink, the floor is dirty, the bed creaks, there is no water, glasses in the room, you can buy it on the territory 50 meters away in a small bottle for one glass. Untethered large dogs run around the territory without a master, collar and leash. We went with two of our puppies and there are no facilities for visiting this place with animals apart from why. The hotel, which is positioned as animal-friendly, does not allow animals into the restaurant and we miraculously managed to agree to put a table in the shade at the entrance to the restaurant to eat. This is a complete disgrace. As a result, we did not get enough sleep, did not rest. Perhaps the booking service will return the money, let's see, at least I don't dare to wait for a decision from the administration of this institution, unfortunately, judging by the behavior of the administrator during my request to deal with the noise from which the walls are shaking at 2 am.

Room was very clean and spatious, beds were very comfortable, staff were very friendly, helpful and available to solve any issues. The rooms were in bungalows in a forest resort near the Danube. There is a restaurant right next to the bungalows with a view of the Danube. Overall quite tranquil and a bit cooler than the city. Breakwast was Swedisg style buffet.

We swapped several rooms before finding one with a working AC. Hopefully this is only a minor issue to get solved before other guests arrive. Even though there is a view of the Danube , I was unable to find spots for sunbathing/ fishing there or nearby.

The whole operation is very professional: great staff is polite, friendly, helpful. Everything is clean, comfortable. Great AC. Nice bed.

Suggest coffee in the room ?
