I really didn't like anything about this hotel especially the stench from the bathroom, which they refused to acknowledge

The front desk manager? was very rude! I will NEVER return to this place

The room is clean, the mattress is good, top location in the centre of Novi Sad. The staff is nice, they do what they can. The coffee is good.

It is not the 4* hotel as they position themselves. These are rooms with some service, and you have to take care of yourself in case there are any issues. The place is noisy as there are bars nearby working till 2am, take your earplugs with you. There is a huge Exit sign above the door with an intensive green light, which you cannot turn off. The ceiling is very high, so you can do nothing with it. Something was wrong with bedsheets - they were white and clean, but me and my husband both felt like allergic (although we are not allergic to anything in general). The breakfast zone is on the -1 floor and it does not look like the place for food. It is a conference room, where they can bring you food. After one night we decided to leave although we had one more night paid. It is definitely overpriced for the experience we got.

Yes, these are indeed the rooms and not the hotel. There’s a reception but no other facilities inside the building. Building is secured, no one without the key card cannot get in. Rooms are big, with very high ceiling, soundproof, well air conditioned. Bathrom could be better equipped (shower gel is more a detergent), but it’s clean and overall ok. Breakfast is organized in their restaurant outside of the building. It’s not a buffet breakfast and the choice is not the best but everything we ate was good. Also the waiter was excelent. Same goes to receptionist as well.

Personally, I prefer staying in regular hotels. For a room it’s a bit expensive. The room had a slight, unusual smell, but nothing too bothersome—it’s manageable. Getting to the parking is really complicated.

The room was spacious and the hotel is in a great location!

There isn’t always someone at the reception. However, you can ring the bell and someone will come.

Due to mass protest in City we were advised to leave a day early to avoid being delayed for our flight. We advised hotel of the reason and asked if there was a possibility of 1 nights refund only to be told its not company policy, I agree under normal circumstances but this was both out of our control, we travel to Novi Sad 3/4 times per year and have chosen your hotel several times in the past, I'm sorry but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Comfortable bed, very good breakfast. The rooms are freshly renovated. The location is central and there are taxis in front of the hotel if you don't want to walk

People are smoking in the restaurant (common problem in Serbia)

Good location. Walking distance to most area and breakfast was amazing and the staff were exceptional.

The location was great, right in the city centre. The restaurant attached to the hotel is good.

The guy that checked me in stood by and watched as I struggled with a bicycle and heavy panniers up and down stairs with offer to assist or hold open doors. He was very friendly but for some reason didn't see the need to assist despite me visibly struggling after a 100+ mile ride in the sun. He needs a bit if training in basic hospitality.

The best thing about Kombinat is the location. It's very convenient, the main square and walk is 3 minutes walk, plenty of choices for coffee&dinner around. all in all logistically perfect location.The second positive thing is that it was actually very quiet. Room was clean and cleaning lady was very friendly. Breakfast selection was good: omelets, toasts, bruschettas etc (although eggs were poorly cooked)

But there were some huge disappointments that definitely would make me choose another place to stay. The biggest issue for me was the smell. If you are a non-smoker, it's pure hell. everything smells like smoked through soaked in detergent rug - outside of the room stronger than the inside, but inside still quite horribleAnother issue is the room itself. We booked a large room to be able to work from hotel. However in a large enough room there was a teeny-tiny window right under the ceiling, so that you could not possibly look through (unless you are 2.5 meters tall). So the whole room gave such a strong prison vibe, that we left 1 day earlier than booked. the breakfast was the third issue. out of 5 days I had hotel breakfast 2ce, because it was abominable experience. I guess it's normal for locals as they are used to all the cafes being a smoking places. But for us to run outside (breakfasts are served in Kombinat food cafe outside the hotel) in rain and wind to have breakfast in a place completely filled by smoke, so that you cannot feel the taste of food -- that was disgusting. and all your clothes would smell like smoke as well after half an hour breakfast.

The included breakfasts were consistently good, as was the service. The location could not have been better. Very clean facilities.

You are in the heart of the city, which (for better or worse) means you get to hear music and clubs until early morning on Friday and Saturday nights. The room size was extremely small, and I had difficulty regulating the temperature throughout my stay.

The place is new and clean with a nice contemporary design. The guy at the reception is very friendly and the hotel is well situated. The bathroom is very nice, the high ceilings make the room looks bigger, the insonorisation is ok, and there is a lot of storing spaces. The breakfast was surprisingly good!

The only thing is there is only one pillow, but that's only my problem.

Not a dislike, more of a disclaimer, the street where the hotel is located is very busy, keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper.
