Pros +
- Perfect small apartment close to the main bridge and city centre. Quiet environment, good connections (also walking distance) to main attractions in the city. Very friendly and generous owner. Fully equipped apartment is a perfect for a few day stay in Linz.
- The room was good it had everything in it.
- Spacious apartment, good facilities, and a reasonably handy location
Cons -
- The room was 30 degrees so to cool it down you had to open the windows and because it was on the corner of two busy roads it was extremely noisy and everyone walking by could look into the room very disappointing so at night you had to close the windows and the temperature didnt go below 27 too hot for a comfortable sleep. It needs air conditioning, then it would be good
- There is something wrong with this apartment. The landlord has invested in high-quality windows and shutters to keep out noise from the busy street right outside. That works well, but the apartment is super insulated. When I arrived, I opened all windows and doors to get a breeze in, and flush out the hot air inside. But as soon as the windows are closed, the apartment retains its hot stuffy state. It is as if a heater is permanently on. Even on a 30 C day, it was a relief to step outside into the cool air compared to inside. The apartment doesnt cool down overnight like a normal room. I could only sleep comfortably, on the soft springy sofa bed, by having a cold shower in the evening and having the fan on all night. Unless the landlord invests in an air conditioning unit, I dont recommend this apartment for summer. Which is a shame, as it is otherwise pretty good.
