    Pros +

    • just the location only
    • The hosts were friendly and very patient with the language barrier (I don't speak any Italian). The room was cozy and well furnished, and the building (corridors, breakfast area) was charming. They were happy to accommodate last minute check-in changes due to a flight cancellation and an unusual check-out time and went out of their way to make sure I could have a cup of tea, check out, and catch my taxi in plenty of time before an early morning flight.
    • I stayed here for 2 nights in Nov and really enjoyed it. Great location near the station and the room had everything I needed. Brilliant shower, cosy bed and a lovely Italian breakfast in the morning with superb coffee.

    Cons -

    • they have restrictions to their customers coming in at night after 23.00hr,anyone that eventually visit you will have to pay 1.50 Euro tax they have very poor breakfast menu and the wife of the man is very harsh and they hardly speak English
    • The booking.com information about the city tax (which said it was to be paid by card) was incorrect, as they needed it in cash. There was some street noise at night, and it is far enough from city center that solo travelers (like me) may feel a little nervous walking there alone in the dark.
    • Nothing, everything was just great.

The hotel is quite controversial and clearly in need of improvements, as it is managed in a very basic way — with poor communication and a lack of flexibility from the staff. One positive surprise, however, was the breakfast, which turned out to be unexpectedly pleasant.

Owners were amazing, fun and available. Would definitely return again.

The bathrooms were a bit small for the rooms and weren't kept at the best of standards (ex. Shower head old and to the point of breaking, facilities a bit old)

The owner is very friendly. Generally a good price-quality ratio. Close to the train station.

Check in and check out hours are quite strict. Breakfast only till 9.30. No option to leave the luggage on the last day.

The location of the hotel was good. It was near the train and bus stop.

I wasn't satisfied with the breakfast. It was also very hot during the night — there was an AC, but it wasn’t cooling properly. The description mentioned that soap and shampoo would be provided, but the quality was very poor. It also said that an iron would be available in the room, but there was none. I couldn’t find a water cooler to drink water either. There was a TV, but it wasn’t working.

The owner is very friendly and helpful! Breakfast is Italian-style: espresso and some sweet snacks. The location is great if you're looking to stay near the train station. Not much street noise.

As you can see from the pictures, it is an old hotel. no elevator, small toilets (camper style). Since it is a 2 star hotel it is fine, it is ideal for short stays.

Friendly, helpful owner. The hotel is close to the train station. The a/c worked!

This is a simple place. Nothing fancy or special. The carpet in the room isn’t new and the shower pressure was low. Breakfast was basic. The area between the hotel and train station isn’t great. I had a fine, low budget stay.

Location next to train station. The neighbourhood has a bad name, but I never felt uncomfortable, even returning late at night. Spotless despite the carpet on the floor (instead of tiles), the common toilet was very clean too. Tidy, silent (see cons section), good breakfast. Very nice owner!

Noise of buses from 6-6.30 am, but I'm particularly sensitive to noises. Having chosen a room with common bathrooms meant I had to exit my room any time. Is it impossible to provide all rooms with a toilet?

Hotel is run by an extremely friendly couple who immediately gave us lots of info on Padova.

    Location is a bit off

Located near train station, however opposite to city center. Quiet street, Spar-Supermarket not too far away.Bathroom small, but clean and practical.Very nice host.Nice, Italian small & sweet) breakfast with good coffee.

Bed was a bit narrow. However I enjoyed my stay

The pansion is pleasant, well connected by bus to the city center and the main attractions

The whole place is crowded with decorations, that seem dusty. The wifi is only available at the reception desk, which makes it useless. The rooms were airconditioned, but walking through the hallways felt suffocating. The bathroom tiny, However it was bearable for 2 nights
