Cons -
- NO, IT WAS VERY NICE
- The room felt very bare bones, like a college dorm room, but I came around to it and ended up liking this aspect. If we had stayed for more than one night, it may have felt too austere.

The room was very simple and small and the bathroom was very small and congested.
The room was like a college dorm rom, bed hard , pillows flat , barely any room to it , it was very hot and had flies in the room . We complained and all they did was spray for bugs, which left a horrible smell
The location and that’s it
It is absolutely in the center of the city of Padova in a huge spacious building, just in front of the church of the Santo. Parking is accessible very easily. It has all the basic facilities you expect from a 3 star hotel and it is absolutely clean.
Our room was a simple room with no personality or any kind of care for the decoration of even a bottle of water. In our bathroom there was tent for the shower that I find very uncomfortable and messy. You make your coffee or capuccino from a machine for breakfast, which I don't like. The personel at the reception did not even smile to us and that was really uncomfortable.
The location is next to Prato della Valle, which is one of the most charming piazzas one may see (in my opinion). Room was clean and comfortable, the employees at the 24/7 reception were very accommodating and kind. Truly recommend this!
This is not a negative aspect per se - I would just recommend for the luggage room to be somewhat controlled, as in having tags in each guests suitcases and lock the door of the luggage room. We did not lose anything nor feel threatened, however, given how many luggage was there, we felt a bit uneasy.
great location, good breakfast, friendly staff, clean and warm rooms
The facility provided a clean, spacious, basic room. It was wonderful to have a staffed reception and the excellent bar on site. The staff were helpful and the food and drinks in the bar were good and reasonably priced.
The fragrance used in the bathroom was unpleasant to me, and the bathroom was extremely overheated. It would not cost much to put an art print or two on the walls and to provide an electric kettle. Those additions would upgrade the room from functional to pleasant.
Location, across the street from the Basilica, easy walk to other places of interest. Clean, comfortable and informative, pleasant staff.
Staff was friendly and professional, the location of the hotel is great and the room itself, while not being modern, was fine.
When we arrived the room was not cleaned properly, there were some hairs on the bed. It was pretty cold and we had to turn on the heating. The bed had probably old mattresses, as they were not flat anymore
Location , friendly staff
Very noisy, room too hot and could not adjust
Lovely older hotel in the heart of Padova. Parking behind the hotel was great, cafe/restaurant adjoining was awesome. Would love to stay again and thoroughly enjoyed Padova.
The location is very strategic, close to Tram stop and the Basilica is just across the street. Breakfast ia great with many choices. The room is quiet, comfortable bed and spacious.
We enjoyed our stay here, rooms are very spacious, very basic amenities. We traveled with 5 adults and had 2 rooms, our room was made up like we requested(1 bed) and the 2nd room how we requested(3 separate beds). Plenty of room. Breakfast was an additional cost but well worth the money. SO much to offer!
Padua was great and the hotel was able to store our luggage prior to check in and after we checked out. It was very helpful and we got more time to explore
The location was amazing
Good location, clean, good price
It is hard to reserve, they are always busy.
I really enjoyed the location of the hotel with a view of the basilica so close by. I also appreciated staying at a hotel with a shared history and the very kind and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable and very good size, which was nice since I was sharing lodging with a family member.
There is very little that I didn't like. I would have enjoyed staying longer! There was a small patch of mold beginning to grow on the ceiling of the bathroom over the shower, so I'd like to bring that to the attention of the hotel. Otherwise, it was very clean and comfortable.
If you are visiting St Anthony's Basilica then this is the ideal place to stay. You can also leave your baggage and check out
Check ln was at 3 pm but we arrived at 2.30 pm we were given room, but Check out is at 11 am so what you pay is not for 24 hrs stay
This hotel is very well located - next to the Basilica, and only a short walk to the Prato. We were in the annex at the back - so it was very quiet (except for the Basilica bells at 7.30 am!). The breakfast was good. We recommend people wanting to visit Venice stay here: Padova is a beautiful town in its own right - but it's also cheaper than Venice, less full of tourists, and only c. 30 minutes by train or bus into Venice (which, given so many steps everywhere and no taxis, can be a pain if you have a lot of luggage).
This isn't as characterful as any of the other Italian hotels we stayed at this year - but this is offset by the fact that the rooms are clean, practical and spacious; the breakfast plentiful; the location great; and the staff very helpful.
Location was excellent, breakfast and associated restaurant was awesome. Room was large and spotless. The view of the Basillica was lovely.
The electronic door locks were fussy - it usually took more than one try to open the door. My key stopped working on the second day. Front desk fixed it quickly.
