    Pros +

    • The alpine-style hotel situated in Schladming, offering a peaceful mountain getaway offering a adult-only peaceful mountain getaway with Stunning views, Clean and nicely decorated rooms.
    • Breakfast was very good and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
    • Hotel is super cosy and modern. Room was nice and very clean (bed even had two pillows, which seems to be rare in Austria). We even had a Nespresso machine in the room which was nice. Breakfast was great and never too busy. You could even use the juicer to make your own juice. Parking was directly outside and free. I also really liked the little honesty bar where you could get your own drinks and snacks.

    Cons -

    • As a guest who cannot comfortably stay without proper cooling, the lack of air conditioning could have been a serious inconvenience ( our fault of not proper researching) . Fortunately, due to the peaceful surroundings and cool weather, we were able to sleep with the doors and windows open during our night stay and enjoying the morning rise.In addition, while the self check-in process outside office hours was convenient, arriving by train without a rental car proved challenging for most the steep road to the hotel. We arrived early in the morning when no taxi services were available in town. It might be worth considering offering a hotel shuttle service for guests arriving by train outside regular hours, even if a small fee is charged for this service.
    • We stayed here maybe 5 years ago when they did half board catering and it was great. Now, after a refurb, there are no facilities for evening meals. No bar either. There is only a free cupboard of drinks and an "honesty box".It isn't even easy to get a hot drink, coffee, chocolate after a long day skiingThis wouldn't matter but the hotel is 2km away from the town so you have to walk into town and back up the hill (or pay for a taxi) every evening to eat.Although we booked bed an breakfast it is not clear on the hotel description that there are no evening facilities. The hotel is dead in the evening with no atmosphere in the communal areas. It has been redecorated in a bizarre fashion, possible by someone having some kind of psychotic episode.Only a "nespresso" machine in the rooms, No tea/other hot drinks
    • There was not much atmosphere in the hotel. People seem to use it only to sleep, the bar was very quiet and no one was ever in the lounge area. It was also quite a steep icy walk into town and the bus never turned up (the bus after 6pm is also not included with the ski pass so you have to pay if it did turn up).

Direct access to ski trail from the hotel. Nice and clean. Comfy saunas. Car park available outside.

Although breakfasts were tasty and fresh they were a bit monotonous and the same products were offered every single day. Hotel rooms/apartments lack electric kettle which would be very welcome by the guests.

Location was great, ski in and ski out, going into town was a 15 minute walk or a 5 min cab ride of 15,- euro

Some hassle about the breakfast not being included in the price for one room (booking had 2 rooms for 5 people)

    9MaciejPosted on: 1-11-2025

location close to the ski slope, tasty breakfast, nice staff

elevator out of order throughout the stay

    7DenisPosted on: 1-5-2025

breakfast was ok, fresh vegetables and fruits were available, friendly staff, ski slopes are accessible from the hotel

lift was out of order 4 days of our 6 days stay, so we walk up and down to 4th floor. Service arrived twice, but was not able to fix the problem during our stay. one evening, we were surprised by finding service tools in our room, without any announcement.

Very clean, comfortable, warm and sturdy. Bus stop right outside.

Little privacy for bathroom user. Small shower cubicle.

    The breakfast and the view

If you have car it’s not a problem but if not there is a way up to get the hotel

    9HansPosted on: 8-28-2024

The view from the balcony was amazing, and the suite was nice and big.

The walk home from Schladming got easier the more we did it, but it is quite the hike :)

The property is beautiful and there is a nice spa and breakfast.

There are some sensor backed nightlights next to the bed, every time the blanket slips they turn on. Would be great to have a way to turn them off. Other than that 10 out of 10

    Location, view, stuff!

There is no AC , now is 28temp outside. It was hot to sleep at night.

    Avoid. Very noisy road

NOISE FROM ROAD: this hotel is situated next to a very, very busy and noisy road. We hated it, and cannot understand why no one has mentioned it in any review. The facilities, rooms, staff, food, etc are all absolutely fine. But the noise is unbearable. Avoid this hotel and the other across the road, owned by the same company.

    4JolantaPosted on: 6-30-2024

One of the two rooms had a beautiful panorama from the balcony.

We chose this hotel only because of the sommer card. Please note that Dachstein is only included if you stay two nights. The bathroom door is made of glass and does not closed fully. The shower cabin is super small. This is terrible! The shower room is small

The views from the hotel room were amazing. Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The upkeep of the hotel is good. Breakfast was very good in the morning. We also enjoyed the sauna every day after skiing. The location was good, we rented a car. It was possible to drive to restaurants and the ski slopes.

    Everything was good.

    9KatrinPosted on: 2-19-2024

The hotel is really nice, new and very cozy. The view from the SPA and the breakfast is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is no service after 5pm, but they suggested a nice restaurant nearby.

    8SaraPosted on: 1-26-2024

Good location, very helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast buffet

There was no service after 5 pm. It would have been great to have relaxed in the bar with a drink or had the option of an evening meal

    4GeraldPosted on: 12-11-2023

Late check out was no problem. You are just a few steps away from the ski resort.

After 5 pm no one was in the hotel. If you have any problem you have to call a number. We were allowed to check in after 3 pm, but after 5 pm we had to call someone. In the evening it was very lonesome, no bar,..nothing, just a fridge with a few drinksYou have to pay for Billard and the Wurlitzer. The sauna is very smallThe breakfast was ok, but there was always something missing, when we took our breakfastOur second sink in the bath did not work the first day, the water for the tube had no pressure, so we was not able to use it. (I had the Suite)They wanted to charge the electricity for our car (half an hour standing) with 30 euros! I had to complain to change this.

It was very nice! Love the view, breakfast vas various, offered also lactose free milk, very good. We really enjoyed!

    We liked everything!
