My 2nd trip there. Stunning location with excellent food and very good staff.

Just make sure when booking a room request the Mountain View, more expensive but worth it. Massage was okay.

Great remote location for a true Allgau experience. The 1/2 board option provided incredible meals of high quality. Good selection of beers at table. Lots of hiking opportunities in the the immediate area; they even offer Nordic walking sticks at the reception desk.

The indoor heated pool needed to be 2 or 3 degrees warmer.

We visited after hiking hut-to-hut, so this was a great place to rest and relax. Some fun entertainment too, like a private bowling alley! They put in substantial effort to accommodate vegan and vegetarian diets which was nice.

unfortunately, there was no fridge in the room. If you are with children or a dog, it is a crucial problem. Even when we wanted to drink cold drinks at night...

The lake is absolutely gorgeous. The location is very nice to serve as a starting point for hiking.

The hotel location is in a beautiful area, overlooking a nearby lake, surrounded by mountains. Stunning landscapes! General communication with staff onsite was excellent! The food in the restaurant was great!

I'm shocked and really disappointed by the mishandling of my request for a quiet room at a higher floor, especially since I specified that I am travelling with little children. Customer communication is there for a reason, if my requests cannot be met I would rather cancel my visit! The higher class "Suite" room was placed over the hotel lounge, and right above the hotel smoking area. Fairly loud music from hotel/restaurant area until 23:00 in the evening as well! Despite the excellent impression of the hotel location, I cannot honestly recommend this as a wellness hotel for families with kids.

On a long roadtrip between the UK and Croatia, we chose this hotel because of It's location and as we had a dog with us we thought it would be great for walking her. This couldn't have been more perfect. Picture postcard scenery, beautiful walks from the front door, friendly staff, excellent facilities and a very comfortable bedroom. We wish we had stayed an extra night and didn't like to leave! The air is so clean, the lake in front of the hotel is crystal clear, nature at its very best. Dinner was a surprise, very good indeed, and breakfast was comprehensive and very good quality. We will definitely go back, we promised to drop some Yorkshire tea off for Martin, the kind and friendly gardener!

Would of liked some outdoor sun loungers

An absolute great wellness and relaxing experience. The hotel is excellent, with astonishing views and excellent customer service. We had an absolute nice time during our stay and will come back without any doubt. The restaurant serves delicious food during the evening. The breakfast is a very varied buffet with cold and hot dishes including vegetarian alternatives. The food is very natural and well prepared. It includes fruits, smoothies, pancakes, eggs, bread, vegetables, cheese, ham, tea, coffee, etc. The SPA installations are excellent and worth a visit: pool, sauna, etc. We had the 5 elements massage: a very relaxing experience carried by very professional staff. Rooms are very comfortable, and waking up to the sound of a (small) waterfall nearby, birds and surrounded by mountains makes this visit one of our best relaxing experiences.
