Hotel Mohren

This was our fourth time at Mohren. It is a wonderful hotel with all the German touches. The breakfast buffet was extensive by European standards with variety of fresh fruit, cheeses and meats. And did I mention the breads? Excellent.

Overall everything was perfect great location walking distance to everywhere in the town and breakfast was great and especially the staff was helpful, super friendly I love this place

This is a great little hotel in the heart of the city center. Close to everything and very walkable. We were able to walk to the bus station that took us to the ski lifts and received a free bus pass from the hotel. We loved the friendly staff, especially Michael. He is warm and helpful with a fun sense of humor... he made our stay amazing and was very attentive and thorough with great suggestions. We loved all of the little unexpected perks of staying in this hotel.

location, saunaThe hotel is really good for skiers travelling with public transportation. It has a small sauna and rest room but is always empty. We really enjoyed the sauna. We also booked the skipass from the hotel with reduced price.

You should mind the possible noise from the cathedral next to the hotel. Although the room is old, but cosy.

everything was perfect

We arrived very late due to delay of the trains therefore almost all restaurants in the town were closed. So we could not really make use of the facilities but the breakfast next morning was great with a huge variety to choose from. Staff was helpful and supportive as far as it was possible that evening.

No roomservice for nighthours. So we had to go to the only open place for food which was a turkish fast food place, but the main reason for this was the delay of the train to Oberstdorf.

Breakfast was fabulous! Rooms small, but functional. Very good location - Oberstdorf centre! Kind stuff, always ready to help! Nice hotel, a bit old, but very nice!

Parking is problem in Oberstdorf. Hotel has underground garage, but you can not drive car inside by your own. Although very helpful stuff will get your car whenever you want.

Nice Staff. Really nice and new wellness area with spa, pool, sauna and rooms to relax. They really spent a lot on making it nice. Excellent Dinner.

I stayed in the new annex, and had breakfast and dinner in the old building, everything was perfect

it was not too cold outside, so I suppose there was no need to have the fireplace on, I love lounges with fireplace

Great Breakfast, Great Location in the center of Oberstdorf

Very Unfriendly Personnel & Management, Limited English & French Understanding, More the confort of a 2* hotel (Bed, Bathroom), Hotel more for group than for individuals. Parking but with an additional fee. If your bedroom key disappear on your breakfast table ... it's necessary your fault ("I trust my personnel")! They will open your bedroom (but with no light in) and if you want a spare key Management will tell you that its 30€. I quite and went to Exquisit a bit further but with real top service quality, friendly personnel and modern equipment. Top Location is not enough.
