The property is located in a safe, walkable area with lovely restaurants and shops nearby. Goldstern is a very special hotel; it’s aesthetically so beautiful and comfortable! We had two incredible outdoor spaces to enjoy. The breakfast is a bit pricey but offers so much variety of fresh delicious items. We felt it was worth it! And the staff was very welcoming and helpful.

One suggestion we had is that the room would benefit from a little more lighting. It felt quite dark once the sun went down. But otherwise, it’s an amazing space!

Historical building wonderfully restored in the heart of the old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will come back for sure!

Location and size of apartment

Lighting in the apartment was terrible. We had to move a lamp from the bedroom into the living room to provide a little extra light at night time.Also, lighting in the bedroom was very inadequate.There were no bedside tables in one of the bedrooms. We had to move one from the other bedroom. Also lack of hanging space and no where to put clothes. We had to live out of our suitcases.Would have been very useful to have a washing machine in the kitchen. There is plenty of room to install on. Instead we had to make several trips to the laundromat.

Very beautiful and historic inn right in the heart of Bolzano. We wish we had stayed longer than one night but will definitely be back.

Excellent place! We felt very welcomed, the staff helped us with the parking spot, check-in and a restaurant reservation. The hotel itself is very modern, superbly furnished in the rooms and outside of them. Rooms had everything we needed: kettle, coffee machine and a small kitchen. Breakfast was delicious

Goldstern Townhouse is a beautiful place to stay in the heart of BolzanoThe location is excellent, right in the historic center. The building itself is a stunning medieval house, beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail. A lovely historical touch is knowing that Giacomo Casanova once lived just next door, something that truly adds to the sense of place and history.Service was genuinely great: professional, kind, and very attentive.One important point to note is accessibility: the lift only reaches the second floor, and the higher floors require using narrow staircases. This can be challenging if you have mobility issues or are uncomfortable with heights. I was initially assigned a room on a higher floor, which wasn’t suitable for me, but the staff handled this promptly and kindly, offering me another room on a lower floor accessible by the lift, which I really appreciated.Breakfast is quite basic compared to the overall standard of the property, but overall this is a charming, character filled townhouse with excellent service and a fantastic location.

In our portion of the property the stairs were a beautiful marble that I’m glad I didn’t have to walk down or up while drunk.

Had a wonderful stay in Bolzano and couldn’t have picked a better hotel. In walking distance from the train station, in a really vibrant part of the town, a lovingly renovated old building. The hotel is a bit of a maze, but every corner is beautiful and inviting. The staff went above and beyond, the room was spacious and well stocked (kettle and coffee machine!) and the rooftop terrace was the icing on the cake: spectacular views across all of Bolzano. 11/10, highly recommended!

The hotel is very beautiful, the people are very nice, the rooms are huge and they make everything easy.

Due to the structure of the hotel there are long corridors and you can't use the lift to get to the rooms.

The location and the building are amazing. It has such lovely design and rooms that make it distinctive. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and in order.

Our room was in the eaves and we couldn't stand up to use the coffee maker or even navigate part of the room. Things were a bit too crowded.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, modern design that matches perfectly to the historical charm, every corner held a surprise.The breakfast was excellent, had everything we needed and the breakfast room is beautiful.

The staff were incredibly friendly, explaining all the amenities and the history of the hotel. They gave us a tour of the building so that we wouldn't get lost (even thought we did!).

We stayed for two nights in Bolzano with our 6yo daughter and had a great time. The apartment was spacious and really comfortable for the three of us. The location was perfect, just a short 3 minute walk to Walther Square and the main shopping streets. We didn’t have breakfast at the Hotel, but there are plenty of cute little cafés nearby where you can enjoy a nice local breakfast.

We love the place.
