Hotel Stiegl Scala

Wonderful amenities: WiFi, toilet, bathtub - all great quality. Beautiful restaurant, with tasty food. The hotel has a great chief! Beautiful garden and pool. Buckets of their own flowers decorate the lounge and reception - wonderful!

I wish it were located closer to the centre of Bozen/Bolzano.

Everything, great breakfast, location

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection with some amazing pastries. The room was a good size and being a family room allowed the kids to have their own room. We also had a tourist card for public transport which was great. The hotel is about a 10min walk from the station and city centre. Overall very happy with our stay.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. A local transportation pass was included, which we enjoyed using.

Perfect location. Very nice hotel, clean, spacious and with comfortable beds. If we go back to Bolzano we already know where we will stay.

Restaurant closed when we visited but not a problem as staff pointed us in direction of some good places to go.

Parking slots are ample.Breakfast is decent and staff helping in restaurant was friendly.

Entering room with a unique smell (I think it is from the laundry ditergent, but I don't like it personally)The room experience is like a room escape game. Staring from the entrance, it needs a 3 step instruction to open the door. But actually just tap card and push...Then the room temperature control, there is a manual with different languages to tell u functions about multiple knobs and buttons on the wall. But the English version confused me instead of helping. We failed to turn on the radiator in first night till we were too cold to ask help from reception.Lighting switches are scattered and without a master switch. (We spent 5 mins to figured out how to light up the room). Shower room has 2 bi-fold door which requires a niche angle to close it perfectly.I meant it is not bad thing to be such unique design. Just we were tired from a full day activities and had less energy to play this game... Maybe some fun experience for someone in the future.

Great location. Easy walk to center and only a couple of minutes by foot from the cable car to Renon/Ritten. Parking available in gated/secure lot directly across the street. Swimming pool in nice garden. Good breakfast.

Perfect breakfast. An excellent choice for travelers who want to stay close to the train station and the Funivia Renon for going up to the mountain.

No view from my room, but that’s pretty standard for most hotels regarding single rooms.

Good service, super nice personnel. Clean, comfortable, and great location. Finish sauna open from 9 to 21 hs included. Bolzano card included, recommend to access the funicular nearby. Parking covered 11e and open 8e for one whole day.

Hotel Stiegl Scala is in a very good location - a short, easy walk from the train station and also to Renon’s Cable Car. We enjoyed having the Bolzano Card, that was a nice perk. The room was clean and had everything we needed.
