Pros +
- I liked the spacious reception area where one could stay for a few hours even after checking out. The location is nice and quiet but also has access to restaurants and stores.
- I had a wonderful stay at Kolping Hotel in Bolzano! The location is perfect — right in the city center and close to everything, which made it easy to explore the town and enjoy all the nearby attractions. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the food at the hotel was very good as well. What really made my stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and I especially want to mention the receptionist, Majd, who was incredibly kind and attentive. He helped me plan my days in Bolzano and gave me great ideas for things to see and do. Overall, I highly recommend Kolping Hotel for anyone visiting Bolzano — great location, great service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere!
- Breakfast was very good. Walking distance to city center. Lots of storage space in the rooms.
Cons -
- Garage parking was tight and sparse and too expensive at 15 euros / night, but we could have parked for several hours after check out time if we wanted to.
- I'm just confused how people can regulate the temperature in their room.. sometimes I don't feel any significant changes.. but that's not a problem for me..
- The walls were so thin I could hear everything from adjacent room, hangars move in closet, both sides of phone conversation, sneezing, snoring etc). The twin mattress had a big dip in the middle. Housekeeping helped to flip the mattress, but the saggy mattress was still a problem. There was a bad smell in bathroom (sewer?) that the hotel tried to cover up with scented shower drain cover and air fresheners in hallway. Breakfast was minimal with no warm food (I was expecting a better breakfast after my stay at Kolpinger Linz). I had an ugly view of construction workers' backsides and underwear from breakfast room windows.

for the room itself, there are lots of places to put things.. the toilet is quite clean and comfortable..and I was surprised it was quite bigthe view offered in the window is beautiful.. i like itfor breakfast there are not too many choices and not too few choices.. so i think it is very sufficient.. not bad or you could say it is a delicious food!!

Location was next to Duomo, and 15 minute walk to train and bus station. My room had a view of far away mountains and Duomo spire. The room was large and had lots of shelving.

The room is nice more space. The breakfast is very good.
Need more blankets because it is cold at night in October.
Good location and breakfast.
There was no parking place, so we had to find one on the street. It took almost one hour till we could find one. The beds were behind each other, so it was not according our taste.
My room was immaculate and had plenty of space. The breakfast had lots of options, something for everyone, and plenty of coffee.
The staff was very kind and helpfull. Hotel located near the main train station and approx 10-15mins away by walks from city center
It is an old hotel,so in general put your expectations low. You need to ask reception for towels every mornings.
Location is good
Super disruptive night of sleep. Had neighbors singing through the hallway at 1:15 AM and then we got to hear the couple making loud noises from their room until 3:00 am. Unfortunately staff do not respond to our many calls/messages in the middle of the night. God forbid an emergency happens
Location, cleanliness, quiet, breakfast
Super clean. Staff super friendly. Awesome location.I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit this wonderful city Bolzano
Nothing to complain about
Centric location. Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Nice staff.
No air conditioning. The room was so hot it was impossible to sleep. I am sure it’s fine in the fall and winter, but in the summer it’s hell.
Good breakfast, good room - quiet - with a single bed
Grumpy staff and somehow formalistic
Clean rooms, close to city center.
More like a hostel than a hotel. Breakfast ok but served like in a school cafeteria.
GREAT BREAKFAST! Very clean room with one twin bed. Located in city center.
No air conditioner.
Spotless, view of the dolomites from the hallway. Good value, nice breakfast buffet with great coffee.
Everything was great
Liked the location and clealiness
The cafe served at breafast was terrible. However otherwise the breakfast was ample and good quality.
Walkable location to the train station and breakfast included. Nice staff. Clean room.
Location at city center. Walking distance to railway station. Friendly staff and easy check-in.Good breakfast with fresh bread and fruits.
